  • thanks everyone who has commented on my sliding... however, it has been 4 years since this video which was my first time out... i now have just a bit more control and skill... again, thanks for watching and i am much better now! take care all and happy sliding!!

  • @TTIVOM This is actually pretty good, do you have any new videos of you, because if it's been that long I imagine you'd look great now!

  • your actually doing okay. i sucked ass at first but in about 5 months i was drifting like a semi pro :) just learn how to use throttle control a bit better so u can get those long slides

  • Looks like fun lol

  • Thunder hill is just a few hours away need to take me MK3 supra asap... So jealous to burn 100 dollars and a few tire sets

  • bro what people dont understand is that its not that easy drifting with a 300z trust i have one too....next time dont pull off ur throttle too soon and u got it ;) keep it up

  • pathetic..

  • u did okay, just need to work on your entry and speeds and what gear u need to be in

  • that first little spin ain't a big deal, keep it in a low gear. don't be afraid to push that gas down hard. perk the gas back in forth.

  • why do people suck so much ass at drifting/driving z32's!!???

i cannot find a single decent enjoyable drifting video/footage of any 300zx's on youtube.

imma start posting my shit up if i only had the right tools to do so.

  • @jps13party Like a Z32 and a respectable attitude?

  • Now drift the 300 like the other guy!

  • it's not "me and my 300zx", it's "my 300zx and i"

  • that sound!!!!! theres good old school japanese cars here..... watch?v=DZ7yZ021gqw

  • looks like me on a rainy day

  • Dude for it being wet, you have excellent control. props.

  • this dude fuckin sucks at driving

  • welded diff you say. holy cow do you drive it on the street like that?... seriously though i like the video... i wonder if an actual decent lsd might help your ability to turn in and get the rear out also make smoother more "sure footed" transitions...

was just wondering to myself what kind of drift car the 300zx is and i landed here (and some other decent vids). not too bad.

you're buddy andrew though. he's a tad better.

  • love the exhaust tip set up lol

  • bruuuttalllll

  • ae86 can drift, my dream car

  • Man. I love the sound of this N/A 300ZX. I hate it when people fit turbos to them when they sound better when they are N/A

  • @Yazoku twins dampen the sound, but one big turbo makes it shine :p it's the same on supras, and shiz :D

  • @Yazoku This car's a TT. You can't simply put turbos on a N/A motor.

  • @V3n0m667 Can you hear a turbo on this? No you cant. Grow up mate

  • @Yazoku Do you see a 94-96 TT rear wing and slits in the front bumpers for the intercoolers? Yes, yes you can. Look before you leap...

  • hey, I've always heard that the 300's are fairly rear heavy, causing them to be tail happy. Since you drift one, what's your opinion on it?

  • Pretty damn good

  • drifting in rain is pretty smart actually.. tyres are precious things. if you love your tyres, just let them slide on water for years and years. if you want to pay hundreds of $'s to replace them every run however, by all means drift on dry roads...until your cash all dries up too.

  • man... doing all sorts of things that would be purely suicidal on a regular road. I'd love to be able to do this. 300zx's my dream car.

and is that an AE86? Awesome...man i'd love to just own one of these big tracks, lay out a few cones and get together with friends every weekend. That'd be the best.

    Niice vid

  • i love dick

  • not a bad drift :) but I guess you are a bigginer , or the car is to powerfull for you to control :) good job anyway , keep it going !

  • I miss my 300 so much =( damn firetrucks >.>

  • he's actually not bad.. drifting is WAY harder than it looks

  • i have an NA 300zx and theres a mall thats almost dead now and it has 5 parking lots that are 5ish acres each and man when it rains its just a drifting playground. im no where near good enough to embarass myself with a video tho lol

  • Comment removed

  • aww mann, im getting a 300 in the next few weeks and you guys inspired me. cant wait to rip it up

  • its looks so much fun .and nice drifting skills,

  • wish it rained like that here in Vegas, my Z31 and i would have fun like you guys

  • what exhaust is on the Z32, sounds super burley

  • damn its fuckin wet that car just has too much power to drive when its wet

  • true

  • on the 300zx

  • what exhaust??

  • Good stuff from what looks like standard wheels and cambers. The difference between the two drivers is the Z driver punches the throttle and the 86 guy smoothly apllies the throttle, the smoother you are the smoother the car drifts thus you have more control. Simple in theory!

  • the 86 is way lighter than the 300 thats why it drifts better. its simple math. 300's arent ment to get sideways imo way to heavy! theyre better for just straight up drag racing.

  • @Omen6schecter Yeah you keep on thinking that.

  • @liblib89 show me a decent drift with a 300zx and i will take back what i said. and by decent that means getting over 30 mph and just slinging the ass end around in a damn circle.

  • Ya because we all know heavier cars make better quarter times.... With any form of racing you want the lightest chassis possible. You are semi correct though, the Z32 is to heavy for most unskilled drivers. However, it can drift very well in the right hands. It's about the cars suspension setup and driver... not *as* much about weight.

  • have you taken out the hicas?

  • lol looks like great fun! You did pretty good and kept fair control. Were some of those 360's on accident? Almost looks like or or two may have been on purpose.

The AE86 was going a lot quicker which I suppose is more entertaining... but I saw a lot of tank slappers, looks like it caused the driver to kinda make their own course!

Both good displays of car control and i'm sure a chit load of fun for the driver!

  • that 86 at the end was really good. Not to sound mean, but the difference was night and day

  • wet drift for the win tires get mounting and balancing gets old quick even with junkyard tires haha

  • Good job

  • hell yeah fool tight exhaust setup on the z, mines straight piped and sounds beast. goodjob doin the na some justice dont mind the people tallkin shit on wet drifting they are just mad you got a z and they got a ford probe or a sunfire.

  • Beautiful Fuckin car!

  • fucking love that car

  • nice effort mate, done us proud

  • Omg this is heaven I wish we had something like this where i live.

  • Messing around in wet conditions is a good way to learn the control of the car, but when you start drifting in the dry its a different story

  • wet conditions isnt drifting its just like doin in the snow in a 300zx it to easy

  • lol that looks fun :D

  • i think drifting is the best way to learn. plus you don't kill your tires

  • thunder hill isnt that near sac?

    btw nice car

  • To v1etskoolb0i: Drifting in rain is for pussy? I think it's petty brave, yo. Maybe your pussieng to drift in rain there bud.

  • man why is everyone so quick to talk shit on the internet ? grow up kids

  • By the way fishman all Z32's came with LSD's.

  • Dude, very niiiiice!!!

  • it wont drift good cuz of your open diff and the car has alot of body roll needs coilovers

  • its got a welded diff... and yes, the body roll is fun to play with, but i can slide it very well for whats in it...

  • yes you do drift good is just so you kno sorry if you think i was putting it down driftings hard if your dont got the right thing z31 here

  • it wont drift good cuz hes on wet pavement and needs more traction than that

  • he cant drift cuz he sucks at drifting

  • Strutbars and swaybars solve that problem. Not coilovers.

  • coilovers and heavier springs will do the trick... strut bars don't do squat for a Z and I already have upgraded swaybars...

  • @fishman231123 all z's have lsd.. no open diffs

  • i wish i knew a place flat and open like this where i live so i can practice drifting my z32 =D

  • try to actually drift wen its not wet out on da track

  • Nice Exhaust Layout! Never seen that before.

  • what a nice place to be

  • Stock shocks with about 120k on them and suspension techniques springs, heavy duty sway bars and a welded diff (the diff really made the diffence)

  • I know for a fact that those 2 seaters are hard to control in drifts. Nice driving. What are you using for suspension? Doesn't look like it's on stock shocks.

  • props bro. hard to control a 300 like that in wet conitions. mad control.

  • wow "andrew" is freakin crazy good,! that was nuts! u should let your friend andrew drive the 300, i think he could go pro(with either car)..nice freakn vid

  • love seeing 300's drift, i want mo vids!

  • heyyy matt are the ones with me and you in the car on there

  • Sweet! Looks like after I get my engine rebuilt (int the spring) I will be coming there :D
