Hi, this is our family tradition dating back to the French 18th century (I think I was not born lol). Should be allowed during the three nights in December 24,25,26 (regional specificity) a hot plate in the kitchen and an extra place at table. If someone will come. Chef, I'm very glad to see that you try not to swear in front of your kids! I'm gonna go Gordon Ramsay all the way in the kitchen this year. Thank God for your cooking books. And our tradition? Baking biscuits all december, gaining a few pounds and, if we are lucky enough to have snow, we build a big fat snowman in the garden. We decorate the tree together and eat a lot. We're french. :) Have a merry Christmas!!!

We have "Cookie Palooza"! we make gingerbread boys & girls & sugar cookies & buy food coloring & buy tubs of white frosting &color the frosting & put it in ziploc bags & we pipe all over the cookies & then decorate with colored turbinado sugars & non pareils & while all this is going on im making hot chocolate listening to the kids talk & laugh & they get "stuff" EVERYWHERE 7 then we have the odious task of eating the cookies. I also take tons of pictures & trust me, 6 sons & hubby its a mess!

@gordonramsay We always start our Christmas day with fresh-baked cinnamon rolls! The rest of the day is spent with family and friends, and we eat lots and lots!!!
