The show has always been more mature. I haven't watched the dub so I don't know if the language is toned down, but the later seasons contains much more detailed nudity and (very rare) bloody violence. I would say the show is still as mature as ever

@Amaenaideyo1 The language is toned down without a doubt. I was watching the dub (they never swear) and switched to the sub. In the first few minutes, Ranma said S*** and b*****, that's what i ment by the comment.

That's really strange, as it wouldn't affect the age rating (PG-13, TV-14) even if they DID swear.
