THE NIGERIAN LEADERS HAVE ALWAYS DISAPPOINTED THE PEOPLE. THEY'VE ALWAYS KILLED THE PEOPLES' SPIRIT. THIS GREAT NIGERIAN DESERVES THE BEST. I RESPECT ILERIKA FAR MORE THAN YAKUBU GOWON. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE. THANKS heroiceagles.

This man is funny saying: at 01:20, i would have been deported from europe that i dribbled an average european man to death!!!! very hilarious. He needs rewarding!!!!!!!!!
Wonderful interview. It sent chills down my spine especially the part about 100,000 fans squeezed into national stadium that brought him to tears before the game started. The good old days!
This is a great clipse..all those guys who taped over our archives tapes while working for NTA OR NTV should be ashamed1..Theyve robbed Nigeria of our history..You can see the passion in this guys when he speaks..and isnt it amazing Mr Ilerika"s brain for details?Remembering all these dates and names like it was 2 weeks ago?And he is as entertaining on tele as he was on the pitch...Haruna dakun jowo,ye ge won lege sere...
If you went to secondary school in the early 70s you'd remember the chant- Haruna dakun jowo, Mato lo ni ka ba o.....(referring to Tunde Martins of Igbobi College, Yaba- hope my Yoruba makes sense). RIP Haruna Ilerika.

HARUNA ILERIKA was the consumate soccer artiste and magician with his deft left foot.
I am privileged to have watched him perform many times on the soccer field in his prime. May he rest in peace and heartfelt condolences to his family.

For those who are young to know this man. He is better than maradona- some people might not agree with me - he is God. I wish him well.
