I think that might have been Andreas Gulden driving. He drove for Zakspeed before they went bankrupt, and now drives for Nurburgring.de adventure gmbh, if Im not mistaken. I did a lap with him in their Aston Martin. We passed Sabine Schmidt in her BMW. She's a great lady, real fun person, btw.

Also ich muss dir jetzt auch mal ein rießen Kompliment machen für deine Videos. Bin ein großer Fan deiner Videos, da deine zusammen Schnitte immer sehr geil sind.

Hier mit dem Video hast du mir einen großen Gefallen getan, da die Viper mein absolutes lieblings Auto auf der Nordschleife ist (war). Leider gibt es Sie ja nicht mehr :( !!!

Bei 1:27 ist die Quiddelbacher Höhe, wos dann rauf zum Flugplatz geht und bei 1:32 ist es die 3-fach rechts zwischen Metzgesfed und Wehrseifen das müsste dann Kallenhardt sein;)

this is v8. zakspeed had to take 2 zylinder away by them regulate. I see them live and there is even better sound.

@roca360flip I didn't know what this car was using for an engine. I thought it might have been a Judd. It turns out that it's the V10 with two dead holes. Zakspeed had a new v8 -phased crankshaft made for it, and that is what you are hearing. If you don't know what a Judd is, just do a search here for "BMW hillclimb 10,000rpm"

@StabyMcStabsFace So they use a v10 block, but only 8 pistons running, the other two cylinders are blocked? Do you know more, like, why would that be better than putting a V8? (not being rude, just very very curios!)

@JJMetalMad999 No problem my friend. I don't know the wording of the rule change, but the V10 powered Vipers were beating everything so they made them decrease their displacement. I think the change was that nothing more than 8 cylinders was allowed but yet car had to retain their stock engine blocks. There is nothing better about making a V10 into a V8, besides the sound. Regardless, the Zakspeed Vipers are still very fast in their class.

@StabyMcStabsFace It wasn't they couldn't have 10 cylinders but rather there was a limit on displacement. IIRC it was about 6200 cc.
