Very informative video. I'm going to be adding some worm castings to the soil in my 4'x4' raised beds this year and wanted to see if you could suggest how much to use? Last year the beds had miracle grow soil and I'm sure they could use the help of some amendments this year. I know people will say put as much as you can, but the castings can be expensive. Thanks!
I would recommend top-dressing the entire surface of each 4 x 4 raised bed with at least 1 bag of lobster compost.... each bag will cost about $8. If you can do 2 bags per bed, your soil will improve even more. Then use the worm castings by the handful mixed with the soil as you plant each vegetable or annual.
Thanks a lot for your reply. I finally found a consensus online about the castings and most people are saying exactly what you have here. To use the castings in each hole. Thank you!
