I have been to her home way befor the movie was made. If you ever get a chance ,you must see yourself. They used her home for the movie. Everything you see in the movie was filmed in the location. I had to see the movie to understand her..love Mexico. I have pictures on facebook (David Mitchell) of Ponchatoula Louisiana. Have just the door way and other spots.....

@anna63rubio I did do research, after she got aids she neglected the study of medicine to begin a painting career! Her mother had a special easel made for her so she could paint in bed upside down! Then later on, she was found to be lying about the adventures she had. She never worked at the Vatican NOR, invented the bicycle!

I like the video as is (except for maybe the wrong info). I think it's important to understand Frida's culture in order to understand HER. The expectations in a Mexican society affected her life deeply, like the importance of having children for example.

The biography is a bit wrong. Frida was born in 1907, not 1910. She said that she was born in 1910, during the Mexican revolution, but it is false information.
