I loved this song Ive never heard it but I love it. I lost my dad to cancer when I was four and I think the same things as you. What helps me is thinking hes looking over my shoulder. Dance with my father is an amazing song if you havent haerd that which probably already have but if not listen to it :)

im so sorry about your dad.i no just how you feel i lost my dad 2 years ago today. he drank his whole life and he stopped for me and 6 months later he is gone. i was only 15 and we just started having a great bond. i miss him alot but i get threw everyday knowing he is watching over me.

I'd just like to meet my dad for once enough to actually sit down get to know him and go do things that you do with your dad..my dad committed suicide when I was one so..I never had the chance to get to know him :( so I'd be happy to just meet him for once enough to remember and have memories together

What your wrote about him was very sweet. Including your dad, anybody would be flattered. I have a dad, whom im not close with at all. I feel bad because I dont bond with him, I dont really like being in the same room as him. But just think, would you want a lifetime of bickering with him, or a couple amazing years together. I'd take the few amazing years and cherish those memories.

don't be too hard on your daddy..he's not perfect but treasure every moment one day he'll be gone. my daddy died when i was a little girl i don't have much memories of him he drank a lot which contribute to his death. sometimes i'm angry he's gone but i treasure what little memory i have of him good and bad it's the only way i remember him. i get emotional when i see women with their aging daddies wishing mine was around.

Me and my daddy were really close. and Last year he had to go to the hospital cause he was loosing sight in his eyes and all of his bruses wouldent go away. and he was loosing his hair. and i was 13 at the time and i went to the hospital with him and my mom .. i waited out in the waiting room my mom comes outside bawlin and when they told me the news i cryed for so long. 6 weeks later he died in his bed . so this song means alot to me
