im from nc and i go there all the time the best ride is Nighthawk, or the Intimidator, and Afterburn. now, does six flags over GA have THESE world class rides?? everything at the SF parks are copies. we have ALOT of originals. there are alot of this type of ride, but this was the first.

It may be similar to other coasters but this one is an original the first rollercoaster built anywhere with 4 inversions. the Double Loops and the corkscrew at the end.

It's funny how this and the Tennessee Tornado are alike in so many ways. First, Tornados and Cyclones are both spinning natural disasters,second they both have two loops right next to each other and third is that they are the same coaster type.

The Carolina Cyclone was built in 1980 Steel Coasters were not the big thing until the late 70's....There were some but none at the time matched the Cyclone. It was the first rollercoaster in the world to feature 4 inversions.

I'm from Holland and the famous Python in the Efteling themepark is the same ride but the track is completely white. I went on it, i think about 26 times in a row. That was on a very qieut day. Still triying to beat it !!! ;)
