  • The Best Music

  • All misions with 3 stars?...............I accept the challenge

  • Genial

  • Honestly Medal of Honor(Pacific Assault, to be more precise) is what got me into World War Two in the first place, and now I'm learning German because of this series.

  • its remember me i have played with my brother i think i was klaus or something and he shot with a bazooka on me and i try to jump an jump on the rocket fly after a wall and die (excuse me for my bad english)

  • And remember don't play this level, when you blowed for the first(last)time.

  • i passed this hole game in whit 4 yars in 2000

  • i had 10 year old in 2000 when i played this game

  • hey dad wheres the salt from

from merkers salt mine of cause

is that the place which they tried to blow up

    uhhh no

  • this level wasnt hard at all,if you love playing medal of honor you know what im talking about

  • @LieutenantxJimmy Oh yeah. This was a pain, but I think Gotha (Frontline) and The Return to Schmerzen (Allied Assault) played on normal are incredibly hard.

  • The most difficult level of Medal of Honor, I remember a part of this level, where you enter in a darkness place, and a soldier uses bazooka on you. lol

  • "Alright. This is my one hundredth try."

*Walks around first corner and is instantly killed by Panzershreck soldier*

    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • I actually got 3 stars on this level, without cheats. I was just really, really lucky and I used the rife and Thomson.

  • In Airborne... trying to dsetroy those damn tanks

  • When i was young, i think i try 150 times to finally use cheat in this level .. No, i lie xD at the 151 try i win è_é Hard level

  • This should be the anthem for the WWII itself. The song perfectly fits in every way

  • Dear EA I'm begging you! Remake Medal of Honor and M.O.H. Underground with present graphics! No COD Modern Hardware game could beat that awesome Medal of Remake! :D

  • @SuperCsubi I'm guessing you didn't see what they did when they remade Frontline, did you.

  • @bestshowontheweb

    Tell me. :)

  • @SuperCsubi It was a HORRID excuse for a remake. They tried to make it "HD" for the PS3, but that backfired, and the textures were dumbed down a whole lot. What was once the great texture quality is now all shiney, even on the dark and foggy Omaha Beach. It looks like shit. The iron sights which were once very useful, now look retarded and offer virtually no help at all. The animations for AI characters make them look like they have a speech impediment. It's just awful, man.

  • @bestshowontheweb

    I haven't got PS3. I didn't know that. Thanks for the information. :)

  • @SuperCsubi I don't have one either, my friend does.

  • @bestshowontheweb

I've played it and in the Golden Lion bar they sped everything up by twice it's original speed. So the drunk Germans aren't as funny as they use to be.

  • hitler dislike this video

  • Does anyone think that the tune that starts at 0:10 would sound like a carousel or some amusment park theme song? lol. When i was going through my moh tracks and came across this one..i was like..yeah! i remember it! love the tune.

  • hahahahahahaha one dislike :) that is a first :)

  • KUDOS TO THE CELLOs!!! Makes it sound like you are actually in a old mine. Makes me want to hear this song in some of the mines in Fall Out New Vegas!!!!

  • A nazi soldier disliked this video.

  • how can i download this song ? please tell me about that

  • @Whitecoyote97 Galbadia Hotel. Click on all mp3's. It has a complete listing of almost every video game soundtrack ever and you can download them for free.

  • @Whitecoyote97 if you have itunes, you can purchase the whole CD for less than 20 bucks.

  • a mina estava cheia de nazistas

  • This is a game worth redoing i reckon, but the classic soundtrack should remain the same for the appropriate levels.

  • Rennt um euer Leben! Er hat eine Panzerfaust!

  • This is something what is called the game, not shit that is upcoming for 2011, THAT IS GAME

  • this level was freakin ridiculous but when i heard this music i knew that ''ill kick their asses anyway!!'' so i did:) Jimmy is unstoppable! shame on you lil nazis haha

  • the music made this game. i loved this game when it came out and that hasn't changed one bit, but looking back, i think i kept playing it over and over again because this music is amazing. michael giacchino is no doubt a genius.

  • One of my all time favourite MoH soundtracks

  • best medal of honor game ever!

  • Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

  • Saving Private Ryan is the best war film ever made. Actually, it's the best film... Ever...

  • never gets old!

  • Exactly, though Omaha was secured in 8 hours, not 30 minutes, another accurate portrayal was of Neuville-Au-Plain on June 9th. The 101st were cut in half by a German counterattack, and were further hindered by bad weather.

  • @LoneWolf051 Of course Saving Private Ryan doesn't try to convince anyone that Omaha beach was secured in 30 minutes. They wouldn't cram 8 hours of Omaha beach into it

  • @corvettecrazy262 Exacty, it was meant to give a glimpse of the condiions onthe beach on June6, also as a way to immedietly shock, and show the audience the kind of realistic war effects that will be shown throughout the movie. That's one of Spielbergs great tricks, he says, "the first 20 minutes in a film is the time period that an audience is either hooked, or turned away from a film" thats why his movies like Jaws, E.T., Indiana Jones, Shindler's list, and Private Ryan have such great intros.

  • This is what courage sounds like.

  • /watch?v=7is1kcvun_E here with the game sound !!

  • the one guy who disliked this video was shot by a panzershreck in this lvl.

  • Before we drop the subject, whats different in the magazine well of an M1 to an M14? We have decommissioned M14s in ROTC and the only way I can tell they are different is they have the open bottom for the 20 round mag. Whats releasing a clip for an M1 like? Also whenever I can collect weapons I want a Garand and some kind of Colt M1911. Most fucking epic weapons in American history Imho...

  • @TheZednaught The M1 shoots an entirely different cartridge than the M14.

  • @TheZednaught The M-1 has the follower and follower arm at the base of the magazine, releasing the clip of an M-1 is just pressing the clip relase latch while holding back the charging handle.

  • @TheZednaught Lucky! I'm stuck with springfields!

  • the one who thumped down likes Justin Beavers songs

  • When I was 5 years old, I found I couldn't sleep. I saw the light was on downstairs and went to check it out. I found my dad playing this very game. I decided to watch him for the next 2 hours. Thank you, this epic game for starting me with gaming! Fuck CoD with its "Joint Ops", "Blunt Trauma" and all other forms of liberal communism and stupid quick scope 360 sniping. MoH is the BEST!

  • @TheZednaught Awh, haha, loved your story of this game!

I have a similar story of when I first found this game. I came upstairs after getting home from a primary school disco to find my dad playing the first level in the hedges of this game.

The soundtrack is definately something that stands out to me.

  • @TheOneLichemperor Ah yes I definitely remember the woodland levels. That's too cool we nearly experienced it the same way! Haven't played the new one though...

  • @TheZednaught I've watched a friend play the new one. It seems to be a dece nt enough shooter game but a far cry from these original classics that I love ^^

  • @TheOneLichemperor I heard the campaign was good. I very much think that Dreamworks should remake these games, same campaign (with better graphics) and kinda amp up the multiplayer. I'd buy.

  • @TheZednaught I heard that the campaign was a bit short.

    Totaly agree with that though.

Who said WWII shooters were dead ^^

  • @TheZednaught You seem to make the oddest things out to be communist. But I guess Americans tend to do that, don't they? :P

  • @Csp499 look up Bad Company 2 Pacifist. You will understand

  • @TheZednaught BC2 Pacifist? Never heard of it. What, is it some mod where all the guns are taken out or something?

  • @Csp499 Oh no, haha. Its a video from the Campaign on youtube. You'll know as soon as you recognize Flynn

  • @TheZednaught Oh oops. I thought you were being serious.

  • @Csp499 Well I don't like CoD because its too fast paced and there are a lot of low-life hackers. I also don't like Communism simply because democracy is organized better. I just don't think the people realize how much each and everyone of them can and do effect their country.

  • @TheZednaught Hackers are an inherent risk with any online game, and the fast-paced nature you're talking about provides a unique challenge as opposed to grinding some single-player campaign until it gets stale (if only MW2 and Black Ops didn't suck incredible amounts of horse dick).

And I fail to see what communism has to do with anything.

  • @Csp499 Well I have to admit I did really enjoy the campaigns but multiplayer just wasn't the experience I was looking for. I do tend to throw Communism around with an exaggerated connotation. Its just something I'm against with all the other stuff.

  • @TheZednaught I agree with you 110% :)

  • @TheZednaught Don't be to quick to bag on COD, the first five (COD, COD:UO(United offensive) COD: FH(Finest Hour) COD 2, and COD 3) are the best. They were beforen quick scoping and all that bullshit.

  • @bestshowontheweb Well those games have something worse; bunnyhoppers. But I know what you're saying, and CoD is a good game. However, its been blown out of proportion. People will get any new game just because its CoD. Its running on its fanbase, if you get what I mean

  • @TheZednaught Oh yeah totally. I don't have any COD games past COD 3. I bought Modern Warfare when it came out. But I'm not that interested in the modern era war games because I feel like I'm mocking the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan by playing them (Even if they play themselves). I bought it because my friend who had had NO experience with COD before said it was awesome. I fucking hated it and sold it online for $70.00 a week after I bought it.

  • @bestshowontheweb

also I just remembered that they DID do a remake of Medal of Honor(1999) and released for PS3 on PSN and it is horrible.

  • @Telamon8 Remakes are never as good as teh original.

  • true , i played cod and expasion united offensive and almost 8 year later i played the world at war,

  • @TheZednaught o, only true COD fans don't play the newer ones.

  • My mom played Medal of Honor with me. Back when I was Three. In 1999. BEST MOTHER EVER.

  • @DeadlyAnimation No deal bro, my mom played with me in 2000 when i was 5 haha win

  • @DeadlyAnimation Thats WAY awesome.... which level was her favorite? I liked the Uboat....

  • @TheZednaught

Your dad played this for two hours, during the night ? And he allowed you to stay there although you were 5 ?

Or did you watch him from a distance ?

  • @TheZednaught

I wish my dad was a small tad wee bit like that. ^^ ;-)

  • @TheZednaught Yeah these are best games i like wolfenstein 3d classic too

  • favorite soundtracj in this game...i havent played since 2000...what level was this on.. if i rememer correctly the norweigan rjukan sabotage mission? or the one where you save the art?

  • @CARMINEOWNZ Yeah the one in Austria, in the Salt mine saving the art.

  • 3:00 is the best part- I get chills EVERY time!

  • Damn, this brings back some good memories! From listening to the poor scientists getting slapped around by those Nazi bastards in the background. To accidentally/on-purpose shooting up all those paintings they'd hidden in all the caverns. To going ape-shit with your bazooka...sometimes resulting in friendly-firing yourself.

They really, REALLY need to remake and update these games...but please, keep the soundtrack intact!

  • fantastic music

    5/5

  • I love this level.

  • i hate this level

  • I remember firing a Bazooka round down the cave to hit a far off Nazi soldier and suddenly hearing "Try again!" from behind me, before turning and been Panzershrek'd in the face by a trooper who had spawned in behind me.

Heh, sometimes if you got too far ahead you'd actually see the guys teleport in.

Damn good game though, fun times :D

  • Comment removed

  • Strange how people are talkin about the reloading capabilities of the M1 when, on this level at least, it's all about the ******* Panzershreck!

"aaaand that's the last bomb disarmed. Oh hi Nazi soldier with your simple MP40, let me aim my rifle at your...." BOOOOOM *restart level, PSX controller thrown against wall*

  • Yeah I never use the Bazooka in the caves, I always keep the paintings and sculptures intact.......But outside however......hehehe.

  • lol

  • @Silverfox0984 I know where you talking about.

  • @Silverfox0984 i know man and those friggin bazookas always scare the fuck outta ya i mean worse than a damned horror game

  • @goldeneye0019

Haha yeah they were shit scary

  • @Silverfox0984

    Hahaha! xD

  • @Silverfox0984

    you mean german soldier

  • oh God that really pushes up adrenaline!this song can awake dead human!!!Michael Giacchino FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wonder what will happen if the Medal of Honor soundtrack is used for a Ballet play ala swan lake.

  • Well to automatically unload it you have to fire off all rounds

  • Yeah, once the last shot was fired, the clip was automatically ejected.

And it could also penetrate a full cinder block and still have enough energy to penetrate and instantly kill a human on the other side, the M1 is a VERY powerful rifle.

  • they issued the rifle in WWII back then those rifles were "high-tech" and it could also penetrate plexy glass(bullet proof"glass")and was very accurate

  • in the game yes but the REAL design you have to shoot off all bullets to reload

  • Nope, you just hit the clip ejection latch on the left side of the receiver, then the clip pops out, theres videos all over youtube about how to do it. As I said, I can reload my M1 in 5 seconds flat, its as simple as can be.

  • I mean seriously dude, do you really think the government would issue a rifle that was impossible or hard to unload mid clip?? NEVER! it would've been rejected on the spot if it was unable to reload mid clip, it would be deemed "defective" and would never have seen production....let alone actual service.

Looks like you need to do some research on the M1, and dont take advise from video games, or wherever you got such non sence from.

  • Actualy games start including the fact that the M1 could be reloaded even if there was still bullets inside the clip :)

  • BIA has had it right for the last half decade!

  • for the m1 garand it's either all bullets or no bullets cause you can't reload even if you have one shot left you have to fire off that last bullet to reload

  • I've done it, takes me 5 seconds... Eject the partial or full clp, then load in the fresh one, 2 steps, 5 seconds.

  • I am playing MOH 1 on my pc and this chapter is hard

  • How are you doing that??

  • he's using an emulator; I have the actual game.

  • I love this music, the best of MoH game and has even one of the most difficult stages in all MoH saga

  • The best soundtrack in the best Medal Of Honor game! Thanks again for uploading it!!!

    :-)

  • First time in History England gave up with 100.000 soldiers. But Japan lost over America in air, land and sea.

  • I dont think that a game can tell you how it feels to be in a real war. You need to try it in real world, then you know how it feels. How it feels to be scared.

  • Try playing Medal of Honour Rising Sun and tell me you don't shit yourself when the Japs are bayonetting you!!!

  • Ehh what the hell are you talking about.

I have the game and I'm playing it 24 hours. So dont tell me that I'm not playing that game.. How the fuck do you think I've found the name Medal of Honor then?? I have the game and i play it. And no you haven't the same feeling when you play and when you are in a real war. Its very different! And in real war you are in extreme chok.. Cause in real war you can die.. This is just a game, which isn't "real"

  • Ok calm down, G.I Joe

  • haha :D

  • I don't think that Japan would surrender if the U.S. didn't threw atomic bomb on Japan. Perhaps, perhaps not. Who knows the Japanese Emperor's thoughts.

  • Sorry I didn't mean that Japan started 2. World war. I meant that Japan started the war agenst USA. My terrible mistake.

  • I'm very happy that many countries has been friends again :D

Especially some countries. But that isn't worser than what happened in the past.

Great that we suddenly have a ending on all that what happened in the past. And i'm happy that we got the United Nations.

  • It's sort of funny that USA red all Japans plans :D In 2. World War. What a clever thing USA did. But for me Japan, Italia and Germany were the evils. I mean like.. They wanted the war. USA didn't even want a war. Japan started it, cause Japan attacked the island in USA. "Pearl Harbor" And many american planes were destroyed. But fortunately USA didn't lose their 2 aircraft carriers.

  • The Vietnam wasn't even a war for the Americans. Declaration of war is an act of Congress. There was no official Congress for the Vietnam war, except between the South and North Vietnamese. Technically, from an American perspective, it is officially recorded as the "Vietnam Conflict".

  • I agree with you Knaztekz.

  • Although, it was probably even more brutal then the Second World War, especially considering the torture aspects of things. Whilst this did happen in Japan and New Guinea; there are few (if not welly documented) reports of even harsher methods of interrogation.

Infact, most POWs were used as players in Russian Roulette.

  • That Atom-bomb were really dangerous..

But to be serious.. The atom bomb is at least 7000 stronger than the atom bomb, which dropped in hiroshima.. Just imagine. 7000!!!!!! That's a lot of power!

    And carbon dioxide

  • And America didn't lose the Vietnam war, South Vietnam did.

  • You also cannot reload M1s mid-clip in the COD games either. Although it has been proven you can in fact reload them midclip. Wow this common misconception spread is beyond me.

  • You can reload mid clip, however it isn't recommended. You probably will rip the whole spring mechanism out in the process of doing so. This may not happen all the time, but theres an extremely high chance of it happening. Just imagine that; Running around with a rifle that doesn't have a spring. You couldn't fire anything. Your safest and best option would be to just either fire off your remaining clip or pull it apart when your back at the base.

  • Agreed.

  • But there's much difference between this game and the real life. Cause in real life you really scared of deing. In this game you can't really die real.. So the feeling in real war is much harder. But this game is also scary..

  • Do you even know what "RIP" means?

You can't say. You probably will rest in peace the whole etc... -.-

  • (Round, Irritant, Personnel), or tear-gas cartridge, a specialist shotgun ammunition, right?

  • Comment removed

  • Wrong, I dont know where the hell you got that crap from, you CANNOT hurt anything in the rifle when you reload mid clip, it was DESIGNED to eject clips, both automatically, and manually. I mean what do you think the rifle does when the last shot is fired?, the clip ejects!, same if you reload mid clip, its the same mechanical function, only you're not completing the 8 shot cycle, which doesnt matter.

Simply pull back the bolt, and hit the clip ejection latch, takes me 4-6 seconds.

  • The M1 Garand does not have a bolt. It was designed to not have a bolt.

  • Yeah it does, its called the operating rod to be precise.

  • Last I checked, once the clip is inserted, the bolt snaps forward on its own as soon as pressure is released from the clip. It isn't advisable to remove the magazine while its either still armed or there are rounds left in it.

  • The magazine is what the clip is inserted into, and most times the bolt will slam closed when pressure is released off the clip, of course you'd have the heel of your loading hand in front of the bolt, so it wont go anywhere until your thumb is out of the way. But what does that have anything to do with reloading?,theres tones of videos here on you tube showing exactly how reloading is done.

How is removing the clip with ammo in it not advisable?

  • All you do is pull back and hold the operating rod (bolt) with your right hand, then reach your thumb over the receiver and hit the clip latch, the partial, or evn full clip pops out into your palm, then the rifle is clear, allowing a full clip to be iserted

  • Exactly, I remember this Rifle could not or at least *was* not supposed to be reloaded when the clip wasn't empty.

  • pretty much what I'm saying.

  • Point being..? Getting jealous now? Think you're the only one allowed to comment..? That's just sad man.. retard

  • Instead of addressing what I said properly, I like how you basically ignored what I said and absurdly called me a retard. By my last comment, I was basically agreeing with you.

  • Yes, and we all enjoyed the sarcasm from that comment. Never been the sharpest knife in the drawer have you?

  • Yeah, according to the video game. However a real M1 is far different from a game world M1

  • Reloading the M1 mid clip is taught to soldiers from the very start in basic training, and is mentioned in all the manuals and the soldiers are constantly urged to enter combat and remain in the field with a full clip at ALL times, that means constant reloading mid clip.

And before you start your whining "but you'll loose your ammo that way!!!", I'll say, No you wont, when you get down to more and more partially fired clips you either carefully load up the rifle with those partial clips.

  • Or you can wait till combat has ceased temporarily, and top off your clips with single rounds.

  • Thats a pain in the ass from what I hear, but it's possible.

  • Ah, the classic "pain in the ass, but its possible" myth, commonly heard everywhere, but as an owner of a Garand I can tell you that it's as simple as can be, just pop the clip out, put a new one in, done in just a couple of seconds.

  • Well, you have to remember that they are in combat...And I too own an M1. They are great rifles.

  • True, however, its only a 2 step process, plus the DIs' constant drilling on how to do it, by the time the GI steps on the battlefield, reloading (regardless of fear), is just second nature, but firing all 8 shots to suppress the enemy is still the most common way to operate the rifle, reloading is when you're down to 4, 5, or 6shots left and you're moving to flank the enemy, while the they're pinned by the fire teams, out of immediete danger from enemy fire, or preparing to enter combat.

  • thats because in real life YOU COULDNT!

  • Umm, yes you can

  • that last level in the mines was one of the hardest video game moments ever.

then frontline came out and we had arnhem knights and those frickin' gotha facility levels

  • Whithout Steven Spielberg, there wount´t be any Medal of Honor Series. He was the co-producer of the first Medal of Honor games. thanks, steven!

  • First MoH games were the best in my opinion.

  • Psst. You left Michael Giacchino out!!!

  • @ASSTerriXX Steven Spielberg is just fantastic.

  • @ASSTerriXX I have been telling people that. We can all give thanks to Saving Private Ryan and all of the great actors. If that movie wasn't as successful as it was then we wouldn't have MOH.

  • @goldAUsilverAG Saving private Ryan sucks. You dont know a shit about that horror which where in war, read some books, and check out old battlefields with metaldetector and the picture will be clear, watch russian or german made movies about ww2 theme, you americans don't have any realistic ww2 movie, except Band of brothers and saints and soldiers.

  • @karamelles98 Uh??? Who said that i am American??? I was born in America but that was long ago. I don't even have memories of being in America so you can make fun of them all you want, just don't assume that because I like an American film that I am one.

  • @goldAUsilverAG Well in that case i am sorry for that coment, don't take it seriously. Respect.

  • @karamelles98 And The Pacific. Saints and Soldiers wasnt that realistic, it had a lot of inaccuracies, like Private Ryan.

  • @LoneWolf051 The first half-hour of Saving Private Ryan was realistic because of its historical portr
