to all those having a theological debate on here: stop wasting your precious time. To all those who are hatin' on rap music: which Magisterial document opposes rap and hip-hop music? Let alone it praising Jesus! Would Christ say the things you're saying here to people praising Him in line with His teaching? Many of the Novus Ordo Masses I have attended are very Protestant in nature. Bad hymns, hand shaking, lay ministers. The pope realizes the importantance of the TLM and tradition. He celebrates the Novus Ordo the right way but most don't. That's the problem. I have seen great liberties taken by Franciscans--young adult community Masses with rock music and other innovations. Would the Orthodox do this? Please read the work of Michael Davies.

@nickelsT The pope celebrates the Novus Ordo and was an advising theologian to a bishop at Vatican II. Unless you're a sede vacantist (and thus not Catholic) then I'm not sure what your point is.

It's goofballs like this who give Franciscan students a bad "rap" pardon the pun. My daughter is a sophomore there. She is very orthodox and there is no shortage of students on campus like her. She would run like the wind from this nonsense.

@1ndabag I would submit that the entire school is quite orthodox. You may not like or feel comfortable with some of the ways some of the student choose to express their love of the Lord, but that doesn't justify your putting them down. If you truly think it is problematic, the charitable thing to do is to do everything you can to set the wrongdoer on the right path. Sniping through YouTube comments is passive aggressive ugliness.
