  • people should stop buying those Green pans.

    yes they do stick

yes you do have to soak them

yes you can not use metal or mash taters in those Mine have many stuck on brown spots impossible to get out. honestly at first they work well but after a few times they are not any better than anything else. If anything happens to them IT IS ALL ON YOU AND ALL your fault.. Do not buy the cake pan the long one it is awful...

  • After using the green pan for about a month, everything started to stick. Mine had egg residue that I could not remove with any amount of soaking. After searching the internet, I found a tip that worked! Heat 1/2 cup of vinegar in the pan for a few minutes then scrub with baking soda while the pan is warm. The secret to cooking in this pan is to heat it first, then add the fat, then the food. My eggs slid out with no problem! The secret is to keep the pan warm. If it cools, it sticks.

  • @Roadrunner3832 yes I agree mine are all stained up too

not as easy clean as they say

    DO NOT BUY THESE

I think other CHEF'S have better ones SS

  • I have one of these pans. It doesn't work at all and mine has turned brown after only a couple uses. My first use was for an egg, it stuck to the bottom like it was glued on.

  • i see that your first post was made about one year ago and i wonder how you feel about it now. we found the green pan very sticky and turns color brown quite easily.

  • I haven't used my miracle green pan since last summer, it has a black shadow in the middle that won't come out, everything sticks. I wish I could have gotten my money back, it was great in the beginning but not after it's used for a while. Sure when hsn offers these pans they are brand new and nothing sticks, I want to see them try it after two months, it wouldn't slide out of the pan that's for sure.

  • that is also my feeling. with not much oil in the pan, the stickiness is worse. so now we have to pour quite a bit of oil into the pan so that it won't stick. i tell you, often advertising can really mislead people. take care.

  • Every thing sticks to these pans!!!! I'm surprised that water doesn't stick to!!! Beware these are not as advertised!!

  • Green Pans were given the GoodHousekeeping Seal of Approval--which means that if the pans stick/breakdown, you can get your money back within two years I believe, as long as they were purchased after December 2007.

  • What kind of oil do you use??? Olive oil smoke is toxic!!!!

    Peanut????

  • To Bartimpson Yes I did season the pan, and I do not put pans in the dishwasher. That one was so easy to clean there was no need to scrub it etc. Then after the 30 days you have to return it, things started to stick, plus it was peeling around the edge on the top. There is a stain the in the middle of the pan that won't come off. It's a useless piece of crap. Thirty dollars down teh drain. People who have called HSN to say this same thing have been cut off and you can't hear them.

  • i have the green pans, they are the best pans i have ever had, i would never go back to the other pans. you must let them get hot before using them and nothing will stick.

  • Why did my green pan turn brown and everything sticks to it???? It happened after my 30 return policy ran out so I'm stuck with a pan I can't use. I went to Kohls and bought another pan that is perfect and nothing is sticking, I think I might make my own video of my green pan, check out some of the reviews on the green pan, I'm not the only one that this has happened too.

  • Well did you season it first with oil? And I read in the booklet that if you use it in a dishwasher, you'd have to reseason it, everytime.
