There is no 'right way' or 'wrong way' to raise a baby (within reason). You simply get out what you put in. If you are trying to raise a clone of yourself or a best friend you will spoil it to make it love you. If you believe you are raising a little human that will have to be responsible for him/herself one day you try to instill independence.
so when babies cry mum dosnt come what do you think happens? do you expect your child to be helpful and bonded with you when it grows up when you dont meet its basic needs? thats the later dangers, reactive attachment disorder look it up I bet you know so many with it.
very true! I am a hippie parent and I still KNOW that babies are manipulative and some new parents say, "You're abandoning them!" No you leaving them in their swing all day is abandoning them.

Babies do not manipulate. Children cannot do that until after a year old at LEAST.

its impossible that you havent noticed infants can manipulate
they more aware of things than you would like them to be
