  • You sound Scottish.

  • 1 eighth Scot, but no Brit would ever say I've got a Scot accent because it's a very heavy North East accent.

It's like when you but a Brooklyn guy in the room with a Texan, there's a clear difference.

  • @DEIVION212 Hehe, I'm more Scottish than you, then... 1/4 :P

  • weres ur mii channel and news channel

  • On the 4th page because they're shit and I never use them.

  • Did you even try to watch the vid? Because it's mentioned multiple times, and if you just simply couldn't be bothered, then I'll find it hard to be bothered to answer you.

  • Play to new remake of bubble bobble with multiplayer (internet) mode up to 8 players in w w w . remakesonline . com or search "bubble bobble online" in youtube

  • How many players is this game? And what are the control types you can use?

  • 4 and Wiimote.

  • Once again, you're here as one good reliable source for me to determine if some games are worth getting. I really appreciate it :D. And happy new year too, I've still got 1.333 hours left of 2009 here on the west coast of the US.

  • Thanks :)

    Happy new year yourself :)

  • hey deivion will you be reviewing Castlevania adventure rebirth? it came out on wiiware today in north america :D

but if ur in the UK just change your wii's region to America or canada and you can buy it with ur wii points

  • Doesn't work, wish it did.

I'm well pissed off because this is about the 5th week in a row NA has had a massive update and 90% of NA-ers seem to be complaining.

Whereas we've had shit for weeks (Still don't have Excitebike) and we've, well, we've also been complaining, lol.

  • i had 200 points, but i bought the internet channel for 500 points, but then they made it free again, so everyone who used their 500 points for the internet channel got their 500 points back, so now i have 700 points should i get this game or super mario bros 2? or should i save it up and buy some n64 game?

  • or buy some wiiware game?

  • Which Mario 2? Real (SMB. Lost Levels) or fake (SMB. 2)?

  • the one where u pick up stupid turnips from the ground and throw em at stupid enemies. i also got the original bubble bobble on my wii menu and bubble bobble plus has the original too so what should i get?

  • If you like the original Bubble Bobble then get this because it's excellent and gives you 200 new levels, also gives you another reason to replay the first 100 :)

  • ok thanks

  • No probs, hope you like it :)

  • i cant like the game until the end of october cause thats when they refund the 500 points back.....

    ill wait l:(

  • The points for the Net channel? I thought it was just going to be a download ticket for a NES game, which I thought was BS, so I'm glad they're now giving the points back :)

  • yeah u had to buy the internet channel when it costed 500 points to get the refunded 500 points back at the end of october (probably if they change their mind). i just wonder because i actually have 400 points cause i just checked and i was wondering if the 500 points have to be for an nes game directly, or if u have extra leftover points u could use it to buy a wiiware game. if u can only use it for an nes game, i guess ill have to settle for the fake SMB2

  • I didnt get them back

  • I think it's going to be one of those where so many got the channel that it'll take them the whole month to give them back to everyone.

So don't give up hope yet :)

  • well it did say im getting it at the end of october Lol

  • got them back today. but its only a ticket to a free nes game so it doesnt get added to your total of points. they let u go through a selection of nes games so thats all u can pick an nes game oh and u have to update ur wii shop channel the button to download a free nes game is at the bottom right then u first go in the wii shop channel and this expires on december 31

  • That REALLY sucks!

Because you spent 500 points, bottom line, 500 points now you should be getting 500 points back to spend on anything you want.

Because what if you wanted a 500 point Wii Ware game or like yourself wanted to buy a more exspensive one?

  • it probably doesnt get added to ur total because they dont want u to gift it or somethin. i guess ill just pick some nes game. but i dont know what (hesitating about this SMB2)

  • Well SMB2 is fun but I've never been too keen on replaying it much, and the other SMB2 is just insanely hard and needs some real time put into it.

What other NES games interest ya?

  • well i want a mario nes game. i already have SMB3 on gameboy, the original SMB u can play for free online and the lost levels the real smb2 seems ok. so its probably a match beteeen fake SMB2 or real SMB2.

  • Well for terms of gameplay, fake is probably best to go for, because real is just a ver very very very hard update to SMB 1.

So I suppose it depends on if you want to play the game you buy or get uber frustrated for the next 8 months until you finally beat it, lol.

I still prefer real because It's a real Mario game and the other just isn't.

    ut that's solely why.

  • thanks but ill just go with the fake one cause of its gameplay, but thanks anywayz

  • Well that's what I was saying, it might be best to go for the fake, I just personally prefer real.

  • ok thx

  • No probs, enjoy :)

  • i love this game, its so awesome

and its so awesome that your recording the game from your tv and its not bluring xD

  • got the same tv :D

  • Dude, what did you do to all your channels? >.>

    Moving them wasn't necessary :P

  • It was, they're annoying and in the way, lol.

  • hmmm....its 600 piont on my place?

  • Yup, NA got it cheaper :(

  • Can't say I care for the remix, but otherwise, looks like a good buy.

  • LOL AT 2:50 i love that..."personally i don't really care that it's not online" lol the way u said it was mint lol

  • Lol, glad you liked it :)

  • In the U.S it's 600 Points so you can use the left over Wii points on the DLC. :)

  • Yup, been told of this annoying crime before.

I really do hate Ninty for this.

You guys not only get more WW games than us, you get them for cheaper!

And Ninty have raised the price of points card. They're a joke, I hope there bank account gets wiped due to some massive electronic cock up.

I'd laugh my ass off if they went bust.

  • And Super Mario RPG is 800 in US and 900 in Europe!

Plättchen is 1000 in US and freakin' 1500 in Europe!

    Nintendo only cares about money!

    They sold Rare!

They won't the release Bionic Commando on VC!

    They only care about money!

    NINTENDO SUCKS!

    (Send hate mails to junk@ivaria.wtf)

But they did make good games... Before 2008...

  • IMO the last GREAT game they made was Pikmin 1.

After that, I don't think I've found a Ninty game that has the same magic as there older works.

Like OOT, Melee, Mario World, and remember how good the Starfox games used to be? :(

And RARE has just been awful since the move.

I don't think you'll EVER get an amazing game from them again.

  • Yeah. We should probably do a Top Ten called, "Top Ten stupidest things Nintendo ever done"

    Number one... Sold RARE

  • Number two, SOLD RARE!

It's such a big fuck up that it needs to be on there twice really XD

  • ROFL XD

  • Number three,SOLD RARE!!

  • Super Mario RPG is an import, so it's 100 more points...

  • RIght... I forgot about that.... Thanks

  • Yup, sucks to be in the EU. Game after game after game is more bloody exspensive!

  • But that changed thanks to Gradius Rebirth! ^^

  • Deivion212, hey I figured it out, you have to hold the jump button and spit bubbles at the same time, the bubbles have to be right up against the wall, I actually figured out how to do it on accident, check out that level though, it's weird.

  • Well I'm glad you figured it out, 'cause I never got the chance to do it last night and my brother lent the Laptop and my camera off of me for a works project.

So I had no way to reply :(

  • I remember Level 21, the bubbles don't extend to the ceiling high enough, so you have to shoot bubbles under the platform the enemies are on, if you do it right, the bubble will come towards you, and before it goes down jump on it immediately to get on top of the platform on the ceiling.

Be carefull, and be ready to blast any enemy, because being above them, makes them jump out of the cage their in.

I hope that helped...but Level 21 is notorious for being hard.

  • Yeah I have since re-done it and I know why it may be difficult, on 1p it'd be a bitch. But I always play BB on co-op and on co-op it's dead easy if you just feed each other bubbles :)

  • Do me a favor mate, go into arrange mode and try going to Level 21, see if you can pass it, I agree most of the levels are really easy in arrange mode but level 21, I think it's impossible.

  • Well I'll do my best to try it tonight, but it'll depend on what comes out tonight and if I'm reviewing.

  • Deivon, how the hell did you pass level 21?

  • I mean level 21 in the arrange mood, it seems to be impossible, maybe do a youtube of how to get passed that, it's going to be searched for hardcore by US wiiware users just getting the game.

  • I can't even remember the level mate.

I found the arrange ones easier than the normal ones for the most part.

I mean lvl 99 was a bit hard, but that's mainly due to poor co-operation by me and my brothers.

I suppose all I can say is keep trying to get an umbrella to skip past it. 'Cause I truly can't remember what 21 is.

  • the U.S got this 200 points cheaper, XD

  • What a surprise.

I fucking hate Ninty screwing Europe on this. This is about the 5th game to do so.

And the assholes have raised the price of our points.

  • wow i never wud have guessed u had more than one brother. wat does your other one do for ur reviews? panda edits, u do the vid...and unknown212 does wat? :P

  • PREDATOR212 hinders me in every way possible as he and his mates are always out side screaming there lungs out, lol.

However in any vid where there's 3 moving people, he's in them :)

  • A few things about the review...

-You've always been able to jump on bubbles. When you're about to land on a bubble, just hold in the jump button. You never have to release it if you want to keep on bouncing. It's been like that since the original and has never changed.

Also, the jumping does seem to differ from game to game. It was good in the arcade game and GB version but the NES version borked it. I don't imagine it being that hard for someone who is used to playing it in 60 hz, like me :P

  • 1. Yup, I know that. Been playing BB for 17 years now.

But what I meant what that you still had to time it otherwise the bubble would slip away or even worse pop. It was a bit of a slip of the tongue but most people have known what I meant, so I left it in :)

    2. Well I've been in a 50hz region my whole life so I can't say how it differs.

  • Thanks for the review m8^^ that helpd me. 5/5

  • Cheers for the rating :)

  • I live in Canada and it'll be worth the wait to get this game when it comes out. I was already planning on getting the NES version but there's a WiiWare version so screw the NES version!

  • Damn, Bubble Bobble on Sega Master System is way more fun. The sound is awful.

  • not true

  • Me thinks the word opinion should be mentioned about now.

  • Well, he should say that actually:P

  • From one point I agree, from the other I hate the fact that we should have to always state it. When it's quite clear to begin with because no game is "shit" we just think it is or isn't.

I'm sure somewhere someone enjoyed Superman 64 and Carmageddon.

Maybe offworld, in another galaxy, or a parralell universe XD

  • I had to think of Oranges throughout the entire video.

  • Because you just love Oranges?

  • No, because of omgtsn's THIS VIDEO IS CITRUS.

  • In English?

  • On Bubble Bobble Revolution, I find it difficult to jump on top of bubbles, but on the NES version I can do it just fine. Some levels are IMPOSSIBLE on the DS version because of this. is it the same on Wiiware? You can tell on the candlestick level, in the smaller space between the candles.

  • From what I hear the harder levels are no problem on this.

Haven't had the chance to play it yet, because everytime I've wanted to play it my brothers haven't and vice versa.

  • I don't get why people complain about not being able to play online. Kinda silly, really. Especially when the game has Leaderboards, which DO make sense, and even extra stages - DLC that's actually worth it.

  • I know.

What's so great about seeing someone jump in slow mo?

360's online is overated to hell, and it's the only one that costs.

PSN is pretty good, P.C varies from game to game.

And Wii seems to be at about 50-50.

  • So how does online work in the 360/PSN one? And is it actually enjoyable?

  • Well on the PSN I haven't had lag yet. So it's very enjoyable. At least not game ruining, I've seen 2 guys jumping about on 1 game of Warhawk, but that's it.

On the 360 it's basically, like 1 in every 10 games you play is fine, the rest are terrible. Either so laggy it's unbelieveable or the games just cut out.

And everyone who owns Live seems to be a greedy racist.

Because EVERY game I'd get killed more by MY OWN TEAM! Than the enemy team.

  • And EVERY game I'd get racial slurs shouted at me for being a Brit, and then the Brits would retaliate and do it to the Americans.

I even got stalked before. That's when I got racist and fought back, to which none of my NA mates blamed me for saying what I said.

And I never saw the asshole again, he left me alone after I embarrassed him infront of his mates.

  • Just every game it seemed was more about racial wars than gaming.

It truly is a horrible community and I was glad to move onto the PSN.

Because with the PSN the headsets are so shit, no one buys them. Meaning that games are played in glorious silence! :D

    For the most part anyway.

Sometimes you still have to mute people. But you never seem to get rave music blared over the mic either.

    Another annoying trait, blaring music.

And then there's the sex offenders. I was in a game on Halo before.

  • Where 3 teens took it upon themselves to start and teach an 11 year old sex ed, and then the lass of the group started making porno sounds.

Took the guy running the game 20 minutes! To block them.

Live is just FULL of dicks!

  • Wow... That's terrible. Again, this just proves SO much.

  • Racial slurs?! That's terrible! And then people wonder why Nintendo does what they do, even with Wii Speak and TBH, it's something I'm VERY thankful for. Why would I want to encounter offensive language/speech while I'm trying to enjoying a game. It's disgusting! I don't get why people hamp down on Nintendo so much for doing what they do because quite frankly, I'm thankful for it and, more importantly, there are valid reasons for it.

Embarassment is the way to go sometimes

  • Yup, I've never pushed for voice chat on a Ninty system because it was the ONE thing I was most grateful for.

Well it depends on the game. Things like Resistance 2 has 60 people online fighting.

Things like that are quite fun and can really lengthen a games lifespan because if you enjoying killing things on an FPS, then it's an infinite amount of targets.

But things like Streets Of Rage 2 online on the 360, I just don't get it.

  • So online, all you do is basically do what you'd do in 2P mode but are you competing for a set number of points or something?

  • is it worth the points?

  • Do you like Bubble Bobble?

    If so, yes.

It really is that simple, because this is as infamous as Mario.

  • I loved the original arcade and now I really like the new Mode. I also loved the original music (which is not included in this game, just a remixed version) but after some hours I also love the song of the new mode - sounds like Bomberman music (which I love too) =D great game, nice review =) I still prefer Niki - Rock 'n' Ball because of its faster gameplay =P

  • Thanks :)

Yeah it's a remix but I just hum the tune anyway, always have done XD

Looking forward to playing it more, lent Gears Of War 2 of a mate so I've had my brother's 360 hooked up for the past week.

Tried to die on me about 5 times.

Man do I hate those things.

  • tried again today and had no problems with level 72. carried on all the way to the end for the "single player ending"

  • I'm rather worried that the new mode may have that. It means I have to play through it with 4 people, which will be a mare.

  • 69 items. XD

  • I was so disappointed today. I really thought we were going to get it. I hope you're enjoying it, Demon.

  • Not even playing it bud.

Lent my lil bro's 360 (That was technically mine anyway) and GOW 2 off a mate, so I've had that hooked up instead of the Wii.

Figured I've got this forever, I've only got GOW 2 and a 360 for a few days.

  • You explained that the objective of standard is to kill all the enemies and move on, but what then is the objective of the Arrange modes? If the same, what is it that is different? I may be picking this one up!

  • They're all the same.

  • Can you use Gamecube contoler? That will make or break my purchase

  • wiimote or classic controller only

  • me thinks original level 72, "Hi Tech!" may be near impossible to complete on this remake, unless you get an umbrella to warp past it.

in the original bubble bobble it requires very exact positioning in order to jump out of a box, but in this remake, the controls are such that you cannot position yourself properly. you cannot get yourself facing right with your back *right-up* against the left-hand wall.

  • Haven't had the chance to play the remake, but I know which level you're on about and yeah, might be a pain.

Hopefully playing it tonight, but just got my 2nd PS3 (1st died) and have had to download about 70 damn things.

  • I've just got this game and level 72 is easy to complete on this remake.

  • In the NES version you could just hold the jump button to hop on bubbles. Can you do that in this version or do you actually have to time it like you said?

  • Think you can hold, I just said time it because if you do it wrongly reguardless of pressing or holding the button, you'll pop the bubble.

  • Waiting for them to release Megaman X on VC.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Hopefully they'd have the decency to release all 3 Xs.

  • The controller isn't totally ideal (you can customize the controls, though), but just get Mega Man X Collection for GameCube, save the money, and get the PS1 games to boot (though owning the collection myself, 5 and 6 kind of suck IMO)

  • Awesome review. I've been looking for a Bubble Bobble game. This is perfect. I noticed that your Wi had house of the dead overkill... what are your feelings on that? Thanks for the post. Keep up the good work.

  • Thanks :D

    It's Mother Fucking Brilliant :D

Full of swearing, blood and violence, really fun and very replayable.

Terrible story and voice acting but funny main 2 that interact with each other well.

Only flaw is it jumps and freezes and glitches quite a bit, because the Wii isn't powerful enough.

You can tell it's a processing power issue (Got a P.C that plays games so I know the signs).

  • Thanks for the reply.

  • No probs :)

  • Oh this is just fucking typical. As soon as I buy the original on vc a plus version is released. Brilliant.

  • Why be pissed off? The NES version has levels that this one doesn't.

  • The boss that shoots hearts at you owns.

  • Did you buy another wii? Your menu is like empty. I thought you had 2 wiis on for you and one for your brother? Is this the third one XD

BTW This game looks awesome, Cool review!

  • Nope SD update.

And my brother's is his, don't put games on it 'cause I can't.

    Thanks :)

  • AWSOME!! make a review on adventure island wii when its cooming out ;)

  • No way, hate them.

  • when i said u didnt do gameplay stuff i meant u didnt explain how to play and what to do

  • Yes I did.

Spit bubbles, kill enemies, goto next level.

  • Remember Demon, they're called "Nintendo Points" now ; ) Change the intro, lol.

  • Don't have a DSi so they're still Wii points to me :)

  • Really? But they're only going to sell Nintendo Points from now on. They'll be branded Nintendo Points from now on. So, we'll see how your next videos are (or I'll sue!) ; )

  • I won't be changing, I think it's a stupid name.

I call MS points XBL Points or XBL:A points.

  • Me likey, how much is it? 800 or 1000. And I mean without DLC.

  • Doy doh, I should have read the title more carefully. :P.

  • Each pack is 200 as well, so 1,200 overall.

  • u didnt do any gameplay stuff

  • What?

Not only did I show gameplay, I mentioned EXACTLY what you do in the game.

    What more do you want?

These aren't normal "reviews", they're a lot more informative and less opinionated.

  • I guess he wants you to take him by the hand, and tell him that A means jump and yadda yadda yadda.

  • yadda yadda!! :D

  • Guess so.

  • You guys are lucky! I hope we get it this Monday. Great review as always!

  • yeah! i hope this comes monday too along with the legend of zelda majoras mask

  • Thanks :D

  • Great review. This used to be one of my favorite games. is the umbrella item in this one?

  • Yup, believe so. Not 100% sure if it does the same job though, but I'm sure I've seen it.

    Thanks :)

  • Oh you lucky mo-

    NIce review DEMON!

  • Thanks, at least you can view the review now, lol.
