im not tryin to bitch at the lady since shes doin an amazing job obviously! but sheesh, she has to do sumthin with her own nails, pls! i mean i dont expect her to have long acrylics or sumthin cuz itd be very uncomfortable for her clients and for her to work with but you can at least keep em short, without sum ugly chipped golden nailpolish and just nicely shaped and buffed...ive had many artists doin my nails but no nails were lookin so wrecked like hers O.o still great work!

i love doing nail art but my only problem is i dont know if i am using the right paint i dont have a lot of money to spend on them right now until i get my license and grants to open my own buisness so what is the best paint to use when u have a small budget. right now i am using folk art acrylic paint & some of my nail art looks clumpy or to thin or the paint gets week when i do certain strokes & i am having a lot of trouble making a simple flower with the tear drop stroke help lol

Acrilic paints are an excellent medium for me. You can purchase them seprately, or in those little connected pots at Wal-Mart. And maybe its the brushes you're using instead of the paint. try to keep a steady tension with each stroke. Hope I helped :)

she used really cheap paint for this.how is a clear top coat going to help it last! its going to chip off in a day.

no it will not chip off in a day if you use good top coat and recoat in a day or two. guess this knowledge comes with experience.

I actually think the nail design itself looks very good and I have been doing nails for quite some time now, however I wouldn't want to wear something that elaborate ans flashy on my nails for anything other than a photo shoot and would not recommend anyone else to wear a look like that for everyday either.

thats because if your a nail artist then it would be pointless to do ur own nails given the fact that when u use nail polish remover on ur clients nails its going to remove urs in the process not to mention the amount of paint ur going to get on ur own nails when doing ur clients. lets think outside our selfish shells poeple. im sure she would like her own nails to look just as good but we all have to make a living somehow and thats how she makes hers

@MissPinkPenguin Usually the "older" gals and men at nail salons have pretty bad nails. It can be awfully hard to keep your nails looking good when they get messed up every day from all the different paints and chemicals.

@MissPinkPenguin You'd think it would be reasonable to kinda expect that they would take better care of their own nails...but for some reason it doesn't seem to happen alot. I can only assume it might have something to do with the fact that they are doing other people's nails for hours every day and when they are done they don't wanna have to fuss over theirs.
