  • beautiful,angelic!

  • "Charles Gounod: Ave Maria (piano solo)"?

Then it's nothing to do with Gounod, is it? Why call it that rather than Prelude no 1 in C or whathaveyou? Or did Gounod alter the piano section?

    Nevertheless, well played.

  • Thank you!

  • Beautiful !

  • this is not ave maria

this is prelude by j.s. bach

  • *ahem*, this is infact the praeludium 1 by bach which then had ave maria written over the top. just so everyone knows that only the high octave notes are written by charles gounod

  • Pura Paz!!!

  • AOS QUE NÃO SABEM ; ESTA PEÇA MUSICAL FOI COMPOSTA POR GOUNOD E O ARRANJO REALIZADO POR BACH. PORTANTO OS AUTORES/COMPOSITORES SÃO

BACH/GOUNOD. É PRECISO ESTUDAR HISTORIOGRAFIA !!! EDILSON EGITO, JOÃO PESSOA, BRASIL.

  • No song has touched my soul like this one has.

  • @2009Lailson concordo

  • lovely

  • Ahh yeah I can rap to this.

  • Sorry, very nice piano arpeggios but thats not you playing the melody at the same time. You need to accent the melody notes within the arpeggios. If you live in Co. Down I will teach you how to do it!

  • @robertrobert240 i'm not quite sure what you're talking about - the melody notes don't always coincide with the chord tones. he's obviously playing the arpeggios with his left hand while playing the melody with his right. or maybe he recorded the prelude first and overlaid a second recording of gounod's melody on top of it. either way, your way can't work if the melody notes don't coincide with the chord tones 100% of the time.

  • @robertrobert240

Really what I'm saying is that he is not playing this live with both hands. It's 2 recordings and that's fine. I like a challenge so I'm going to learn this and show you me playing this with both hands with the melody accented like I said. What do you reckon?

  • Sounds great but i still prefer the Bach's Preludio No. 1 C major alone...

    nice playing!

  • Those chordes are so beautiful :)

  • this is awesome. this is the version I like the most.

  • This is the kind of music that I want to hear, makes me relax thanks for sharing this wonderful music. God bless your hand!

  • Sublime.....

  • Didn't it take 3 hands (or 2 recordings) to do this?

  • Here is all right. I like the arrangement. Thank You for sharing this with the universe.

  • wonderful job!

    this is wonderful

  • I really like to play this one, and you did a great job!!!

  • great , I like this version

  • beautiful! <3

  • outstanding playing. absolutely beautiful. :)

  • Germany has the best classic songwriter, i think (:

  • @xXStraordinariaXx Your partly right. The base of the piece is J.S. Bach's Prelude No. 1 in C major written in 1722. Bach was German. Charles Gounod, a Frenchman, expanded on it with a melodic addition in 1859. A bit like writting a melody over an instrumental piece. For a great rendition, listen to Carmen Monarcha's Ave Maria on YouTube.

  • @knmdefays And don't forget to mention that Gounod added one measure, between the measure 22 and 23 in Bach's preludium!

  • I love this song!!!!It's sooo pretty and well played! I've played this song before

  • kinda sounds like prelude by bach , ive always thought that.

  • @ZeRoJoe18 pretty sure this was originally done by bach. this is the kind of thing he could get done before breakfast in the morning

  • Well played and enjoyable.

  • Comment removed

  • loving...

  • schön

  • you're playing the baseline to bach praleudium I with some sort of accompanying melody as an overtone??? this is as much ave maria as beethoven is to jay z

  • uh, I don't know, but I am going to take a stab and guess that this is the song Ave Maria by Charles Gounod....yeah, you know, the famous French composer who composed this song to Bach's Well-Tempered Klavier in 1859 and became world-famous...but clearly you live in a jungle somewhere in the Amazon, otherwise you would have KNOWN this!

  • u absolute MUPPET, maybe if YOU knew anything youd know the original Ave Maria was written by Franz Schubert the 18th century famous composer and then this phony Gounod character came along and did his own rendition over a Bach Praleudium so take it easy Amazon man

  • @yephendasou

it doesn't matter, just say he played good. because he did play good.

  • beautiful

  • Wonderful you're playing.

    God bless you,

    Betea

  • beautiful
