Meta knight's attacks are fast and no lag. Sonic has amazing recovery and speed. His attacks have good priority as well. It's about an equal match...

Their speed I'd say is about equal, but meta knight's reach = WAY LONGER.

Wow you responded to my last-year's comment. Yes, I know, I learned Sonic's priority is less than average. But Sonic's recovery is definitely good. The vertical range of his UpB is great, his DI is pretty good making his horizontal recovery above avg. Then he has ForB which send him decently far. MK doesn't have AMAZING recovery for his weight either. He's quite light. King DDD...he's fucking ridiculous for his weight. Plus, MKs vertical recovery is pretty bad if he loses 3 jumps @ bottom.

Tornado is a horrible attack. I don't think I've ever seen it actually hit anything, especially not fast and agile Sonic. At least Sonic has some actual KO moves other than his final smash, which, I might add, far exceeds Meta Knight's in effectiveness.

Meta Knight has faster attacks, but Sonic has far superior footspeed and his rolls are even faster. In addition, Sonic's combination attacks pwn Meta Knight by racking up damage in a few good blows and then knock his feathery-light ass off the stage.

I also don't know where you're getting this crap about Meta Knight's reach. Sonic can strike from across the stage with a good roll and do over 40 damage before MetaKnight has time to swing his pathetic sword.

Average recovery? Are you fucking high or something? Sonic can pretty much recover from anywhere he is knocked to unless he is killed outright, including a meteor smash. Meta Knight hasn't a hope of recovering from a good spike straight down. Don't make me laugh.
