@pinkbelossom They were removed from the game and can only be played as by using action replay max or another hacking device. Maybe gameshark?

@pinkbelossom Null = zero. I think that it means removed. There are two versions of goro that are hackable in the game. Goro and null goro. Goro is a boss that you would fight through normal progression of the game. But you will not fight "null" goro. So that is why I think that null = removed or "cut".

i'm guessing some of these enemies were partially completed, but then never used. i've heard a lot about leftover data that can only be accessed with hacks. do the characters that at least appear in story or versus mode still have a fatality?

@drockman92 No fatality. In fact I am pretty sure that NONE of the hacks can be used in VS mode since they would need an opening rant and none exist.

Why are there so many deleted characters.i have the Action Replay Max and Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks i only found half of the deleted characters you have in this video theres also a deleted character named NULL(armor Lion) and guess what Armor Lion is just Liu Kang but with dragon designs on his pant's. I have theory's to all the deleted characters but i don't want theory's i want the truth to why each deleted character was deleted

@spikefighter4 I believe they were place holders and that the game was suppose to be at least 1/3 longer. Then cutting time happened and midway had a schedule to follow :(

US version: Jade (unendlich Power) - [very weak] limited moves: sqr = 4x combo, tri is staff combo slam, o=power, sqr+o = flash kick, sqr+tri = projectile, no running or air moves.

Mileena 2a- boss with special moves and a sqr 2 hit combo, sqr+tri is sia throw, tri+o = roll , o = nice power, tri = hands launch follow by teleport kick, L1 jumping forward sais down power hit, sqr+o = tele kick. no jump attacks, running hits, or throws.

Not sure on the version. AR max is a "physical" CD/DVD. You have to purchase it and place it into the PS2 and then turn the power on. After loading the codes it will prompt you to open the ps2, take out AR max, and then put in your game and start.

some characters dont have move and some characters u want 2 play dont have codes. there is the part of the game where u use the fist of ruin right?. so u cant use the fist of ruin ability if your playing as these hacks characters. i dont why it cant all i know is this is not fair.

also im kinda mad that midway never unlocked a few of these character when they already have the moves sets coded in the game and they couldn't make them unlockable?

They were unused characters. My guess is they were placeholders during testing. Some are more refined than others. Maybe they were bosses but the game had to reach a deadline and a lot of things got "axed" :(

They were placeholders and the "References" removed. Similar to the sprites used for testing like in the god of war games.

Also, will the codes work Swap Magic Coder 3.8? (*It has a Code Breaker-type cheat device built in. Some other codes HAVE worked with it.)

No one can play as Shao kahn. The code is not working. You have to stop / start parts in the game so you load the hacks after parts like "must do multality / brutality section"
