The song played at the very beginning of this trailer, while it's using similar synth sounds, actually sounds quite different compositionally.

@nekochanchen Thanks, but that's not the right song. The song played in this trailer might be a variation of that song, but it's not Making Peace. I'm thinking the song used in the beginning of the trailer was made specifically for the trailer and can't be found as its own stand-alone song.

Silent Hill 2 has only English voices, because the town of Silent Hill is located in the United States. I think all Silent Hill games have only English voices. ;)

silent hill 5 didnt even got new tracks... use the old tracks from the first real classic games... silent hill ended kinda.. hte history finished in 3 anyway... and now the best music man ever, akira yamaoka, going out of silent hill.. there is no sillent hill without akira yamaoka. akira yamaoka makes part of the epic game, with his best soundtrack

for me the first 3 silent hills are the best of all. got the best soundtrack, history, fun and every thing... the main history is silent hill 1 and 3, silent hill 2 its parallel... but these 3 are the real classics silents... after this all changed... the 4 is pretty good but its just not the smae

Yes, really awesome... But the controls weren't difficult for me... Maybe because I played Silent Hill 1 a lot before... Where it's really annoying to move is in Silent Hill: Homecoming... lol

YES! I finally found this video. I've seen the cutscene in the beginning with Laura a million times, but not with the same background music as in this video. A friend showed me this video ages ago and I lost track of where he got it from. I didn't know it was the TGS version.

Does anyone know if the background music for the first cutscene with Laura on the wall was ever released? I'm dying to get it... Though it sounds like it was made specifically for this video. :(

If I'm thinking of the right song, its "Promise" by Akira Yamaoka, it gives all the info in the description box. BTW check out the Promise (Reprise) version by lonlonjp on classical guitar, that song is amazing.

It's just a little little bit different as the trailer i got on the bonus dvd. but it's still the BEST trailer i've ever seen. And Silent Hill 2 is one of the BEST parts... one of the BEST games ever made ^^
