I mean, Rhymesayers is a good place to start. Specifically Brother Ali or Atmosphere, guys like Shad, K-os, Classified, K:naan, DL Incognito, Sweatshop Union, Lupe Fiasco. There's more than enough GOOD rap being released these days. every era of Hip-Hop has had bad rappers(MC Miker G&DJ Sven in the 80's, to Vanilla Ice in the 90's to Soulja boy in the 00's, but there's been enough good music being released that they shouldn't matter.

no dude. im a minneapolis native along with the rhymsayers and although brother ali and Eyedea and Abilities and Atmosphere all have some good songs, none of their material is anything like Golden Era hiphop. Nothing...it's a completely different sound from J5 or little Bro or KRS..etc. It's what id call 3rd gen rap, its apart of this current gen of atmosphere want to be's.
