Madden11 was the worst yet. im not one to complain a lot but the only thing I really would strive for change would be the running system. They should have it go back to 2008-2010 style. When somebody cuts you have no chance to tackle them at all. Madden11 had very bad defense too. But yeah just improve defense and running system back and im good oh and being able to challenge what you want to challenge as well.
They should use the graphics technology from Backbreaker...the player movements feel extremely realistic in that game, in Madden they seem to be gliding...other than that im excited for this year, a lot of new additions.
And CATFOODTITANS, i totally agree, Superstar used to be my favorite mode.
Its a god damn computer game , if you want perfection you can forget it , you cant even get perfection in real life. So enjoy the game for what it is an be happy there is a half way decent football game out there... Missing espn2k : (

@Norman8031 They added new commentary for pregame, for each teams starters when that starting lineup graphic overlay is on the screen and some nice player specific commentary throughout the game. There is also new commentary related to Dynamic Player Performance.
@Norman8031 Commentary was mainly improved after E3, that's when they added the new lines for Gus and Cris, there's a few hands on previews out there that I have read and they all said they added quite a bit of new lines for commentary.

-Get rid of purely random penalties (like facemasks)
-Implement correct penalties, like running o.o.b. and back in to catch the ball is a penalty
-Correct the illegal forward pass penalty, its not any part of ur body in front of the ling, its any body part behind the line it is legal
-Get rid of fumble battles (and fix the glitch on fourth down if you fumble and there is a battle and you win, the team that was on fourth down recovers, its a first for them)
I like Collinsworth as a commentator in actual football, but definitely not in this game. @DjNotorious94 the MNF crew would be the best commentary team in all sports games. They could do a lot more with the presentation if they did that too. Jaws can do his keys to win the game offensively wise and Gruden can focus on the QBs or key players in the game.

Looks good. Looks like it plays better. They didn't fix kick returns though, when the ball is kicked all of the blockers run up to meet the coverage team still, instead of coming back and trying to set up seams. Once the coverage team runs bast all of the blockers at about the 40 yard line it's a sprint to the returner and you're lucky to get to the 20-25 yard line.

The problem is they dont fix the problems. Zone is still broken, they drop back 15 yds and dont guard a man in their area. Off tackle is back. Face throwing/jet packing is insane this year. Defensive pressure is limited too, very hard to bring pressure.
Hey GoldenDragonx ea isnt trying to make the game better. Thats the whole reason all of us so called " madden haters" are pissed about. They spent quite a bit of time and money making the grass greener and crowds more animated( which I give them props for, they do look and sound much better) instead of fixing the actual NFL Football aspect of it all

-allow you to choose which plays to challenge, not just a fumble, but be able to choose "I'm challenging the fumble recovery"
-Be allowed to pick off balls on the sidelines
-A.I. and nano glitch improvements (as well as game freezes and camera mess ups)
-Stop revolutionizing the game every year, same basic system, the controls aren't what need to be changed (like autosprint, retarded!)

@stadavid88 It's the same bugs year after year, their not going to fix anything in two 1/2 months. Same commentary, same animation, same regurgitated garbage year after year! I'm over it! The only thing they've done is improve the field,and that was 3 games ago, who gives a f***!

omfg im seriously thinking about not buying this game for the simple fact that i i dont want to listen to chris collinsworth for an hour everytime i play... plus it sounds like the exact same dialog as madden 10!!!! 2K sports really needs to start making football games again so i can buy that instead of EA sports crap

The problem is they dont fix the problems. Zone is still broken, they drop back 15 yds and dont guard a man in their area. Off tackle is back. Face throwing/jet packing is insane this year. Defensive pressure is limited too, very hard to bring pressure.

Hey GoldenDragonx ea isnt trying to make the game better. Thats the whole reason all of us so called " madden haters" are pissed about. They spent quite a bit of time and money making the grass greener and crowds more animated( which I give them props for, they do look and sound much better) instead of fixing the actual NFL Football aspect of it all

@Jordex8 I've seen a video of the Chargers where 5-6 blockers run back to the ball carrier. Maybe there is some idiotic "don't block" kick return. But, I swear it. Sproles had blockers.

So the commentators don't even acknowledge the starting lineups? Smh. So what was the point of having the starting lineup overlay if you're not going to announce the lineup?
The commentary is so disjointed. RB gets a handoff his name doesn't get called. QB drops back his name doesn't get called. WR catches a pass his name doesn't get called. Guy INTERCEPTS A PASS, but his name doesn't get called!? EA, please do the right thing and fire the people working on audio! They've had enough time now!
