XD After watching your videos i started playing SMG2 again and did this level in one tries in 1:01.01 and beat the ghost ((The ghost is the creators run of the galaxy so you know ;-)))

@Lelogogo09 if you get 100 you get a 1up...also you can use them to feed hungry lumas who either unlock levels or provide you with a 1up or life extension. You can also shoot them at enemies with the B button

WTH?! I must have died eleventy million times on this level before completing it (yes with 999 star bits) and Roselina never showed up. She only showed up for me once during this game and that was way back in the first Yoshi hot pepper level back in World 2 I think. :p

The universes should be planets.

And the worlds should be universes.

yea my first idea was to kill al the plants aswell :l the hard part for me was the skinny parts. and i needed her help just to show me what to do. also that end jump i could make aswell :( wow 999 star bits i only got like 400-500 star bits.

Yeah... Cosmic Rosalina showed up for me too. I died quite a few times here, and I was surprised by how fast she showed up as well. That last part confused me too, I bounced right off quite a few times, lol.

On that 3rd platform area (the one after the 1-up)... if you don't move your control stick and just stay straight, you won't need to steer through it. You just ride along the edge of the right and left gaps. A bit of trickery I found in my many attempts here.

I used this level to grind for star bits when I needed them later on in the game. it was surprisingly helpful in that regard. This was also the first level where I died enough times to encounter Dark Rosalina Lady Thing. I beat it on my own though cause I'm awesome (and REALLY patient). It was fun in a weird way cause of all the star bits though.

Good thing you didn't use the Cosmic Witch's help. You would've got a Bronze Star...which makes you feel like it's mocking you...like it's saying "HAHA! You fail SOOO much! Only a LOSER would use the Cosmic Witch! TROLOLOLOL!!! >8D" ...Good thing the stars can't talk...excluding Lumas...and the Star Spirits. :P

The Cosmic Witch? She controls Mario and makes him automatically move through the level. You can get out of it...by pressing a button...I forgot which! XD

Anyway, if you use her help, the star will be Bronze instead of Gold...which means you sucked so badly you needed the Cosmic Witch's help. [I'm really saying you suck. I'm just saying that the game makes fun of you for getting help. -_-]

I had the same exact problems as you did, lol. But it only took me a few tries to beat this, heh. I learned that you could could just release the controller stick when it got to the part with the barriers, and Mario would basically guide himself. And the star barrier part wasn't too hard to jump over. You just had to get familiar with the way Rock Mario jumps. Oh, and that thing when Rosalina showed up after a few tries happened to me, too, lol. Even after beating it! But you did very nice here.

Yes very annoying. Hard to controll the rock mushroom bc you can't stop in this level. The way you can in other mission where you used the RM. Die a lot here.Wait till you do the Chimp Challenge here.thats hard.

this video was really hard for me too. I keep hitting the barrier at the end too. I dont really like the rock mushroom. I like the concept of it but not the controls. Good luck with the rest of the game. your almost there!!
