I still have no idea why all these soldiers have died. There still has never been an honest reason for all these deaths.

When I see the wealth of America being stripped away on a daily basis, this is the only viable excuse I can think of, as to why they keep sending the Military away from American soil.. So they can rob America, while its Military is unable to protect it from the real terrorist. We all know who that is..

Nothing much changed really. Instead of the Pentagon making the decision to deny photographs of returning coffins, it will now be up to the families of those who died. Would you want your family members coffin to be photographed for propaganda purposes?

Agreed. However think of it another way.

When the first Bush enacted the ban, it was also a propaganda move. By not seeing the coffins at the time of Dessert Storm, as a people, we became psychologically removed from the atrocities of war. In fact, there was less descention to the war. During Veitman, we saw, for the first time on TV, some up-close and personal images of death from the war. It fueled the counter culture and the anti-war movement.

This is not honoring our fallen veterans. They are honored during their funerals and in their hometowns and the media is always welcome then...to show a bunch of nameless faceless coffins returning home does no honor....you don't even know who they are. 99% of active military members are against this...I should know I am one. My unit lost 48 members...most in the war. A guy I went to high school died in this war B.P. Montgomery in Aug. 2005. His widow and the other families are against this
