I'm having finals for the fist time, and today was my fist two like ever so I really apprechiate ur advice. I do have one tip that u didn't mention. I do this right before a piano recital & it's never failed me . drink really hot milk 1 hour before your exams and about 5 min before u take them, take deep breaths from ur diaphram and when u can't hold it any longer let it out but slowly. I used that today and all my nerviousness went away and I was able to focus completely on my finals :)

So true, finals aren't even that big of a deal (at my school anyways). It's only 20% of you grade, which isn't that big. If you fail, and get a D or C or whatever in the class, if that's your best you can do, that's great! Just learn the stuff, grades will come.

Just re-reading it over and over won't help you if you don't understand it...do you perhaps have someone you know who can help to explain it to you in a different way, say like one of your folks, or a buddy? Because that can often be what you need, is to hear it from someone else!

Yeah sure....it also depends on who I have been around a lot. If I have been around my family and South African friends a lot then it comes out more, if I have been around my colleagues and at school more then it is more concealed...why are you so obsessed/concerned with this?! It happens dude..it's called external influence...that's how people's accents change...let it go
