  • Love this video, I just did the big chop and went natural and I love it. When I use to ware an afro many yrs. ago I had some strands that would not curl. I'm hoping that with the products they have now my hair will curl naturally all over. I'm given up on perms no more for me.

  • I love my natural, but the crown is the only part of my hair with very strong gray and will not hold a twist. Hair will hold a defined curl all over except the front sides. Any other with same problem?

  • silver/gray is sooo beautiful on....others! My 1st gray hair was at 16-still not ready to embrace my grays

  • i love that video. i like looking natural. thank u.

  • Nice tribute. After my 1 failed home attempt last year to cover my grays, I've decided to embrace them. I imagine it will be interested to see my mother and I together as my hair continues to gray. She's in her late 60s and has always dyed her hair and I'm in my early 40s. I have never seen my mother's gray hair.

  • Thank you for the celebration! Others have been trying to get me to dye, no way but silver is my signature...TRACK ;-))

  • I absolutely luv it!

  • Love it! I've always embraced my gray as natural highlights =) Youthfulness is not the color of your hair. It is measured by your overall fitness, personality, and spirit. I'm 47 and ppl always think I'm in my late 20s, check out my videos!

  • love it my grandma always dye her hair

i most say we black women and men still look good when we age

    love it

  • I'm 31 and bought a box of black dye tonight. I'm thinking about just returning it, but I am not as comfortable as I thought I would be with all these gray hairs. lol. When I was 20 I thought it would be okay.

  • Love it!!!!

  • the illumination of silver hair is scintillating! i love mine.

  • beautiful

  • i love to see older women with their natural silver hair, I'm in my early 20's, but to all you beautiful 'young at heart' women rocking those silver locks gray-headiness truly is a sign of beauty.

  • How can I stop coloring my hair? I don't know where to start.

My natural hair is gray/white and I have been coloring brown for 25 years.

    Please HELP!!!!!!

  • I am 15. today i found a gray hair :/

  • So very glad I found your site! I just decided to go natural--no color, no relaxer 1 month ago, and I feel absolutely liberated! I'm surprised that I only just discovered this freedom at age 55, nevertheless I'm glad I did.

  • Personally I don't understand why some women dye their silver hair. It is strange to me because I get envious when I see a silver head pass by and go "Why can't I have that?" Of course not everyone looks good with silver/gray hair... just as not everyone could pull off the blonde or red look. I'm one of the few who can pull off silver. I kid you not, I look ten years younger & had gotten carded more, when I had my bluish gun metal hair color than the times I was a blonde & then as a red head. ..

  • @LadyBludgeon Anyways thank you for posting a video tribute to silver, natural women. It's nice to see more women like that. They're great standing role models for younger girls and women, which is hard to come by in a time where magazines state that natural is bad. Thank you for such an inspiring video to aging gracefully. Peace.

  • i dont mean to troll but them hair styles are very unattractive

  • Love this

    I have silver dreads

    These queens look so regal

  • Love this! I started developing gray hair in my early twenties. Not quite ready to embrace it fully just yet so I rock tints. One day....the ladies in the video look gorgeous!

  • I love this site as well and must say I am used to all the comments about my silver greys which I have had since 14. I am now 41 and have a pretty silver mix throughout my hair which people love. I even get people asking me if I dyed my hair, lol. Not many web videos on caring for silver /grey hair. I love my hair. Chauntre'/FL 42

  • I LOVE this! I have been going silver since I was 15 and I'm 59 now. I always loved my hair and thought the silver was so dignified. Try as you might, gray is the only color you can't get from the Clairol bottle...you have to put in the time and earn it. Notice how few videos there are about loving your gray, and contrast that with the overwhelming number of how to get rid of it. Sad. You can accept it gracefully, or fight it, but you better bet the gray--and naps--will win! Silver locs forever!

  • @TheAfarensis Clairol may not have it, but color charm does. ;) Anyways I wanted to tell you that I think your comment is very lovely. Thank you and peace.

  • AWESOME!!!!!! I really needed this!

  • Thank you so much for this video! I decided to stop dying about two years ago and it's always so good to see others that have decided to just leave their silver strands silver.

  • hi..

i do love that.. gray hair..

anyone, please, could you tell me how i could colour/dye my hair into gray? thankx

  • Wonderful! I am just letting my white hair in - and I can't wait wearing it like my silver sisters do! What a progress in resisting the pressure of beauty industry!

  • Thumbs up!

  • Simply beautiful. Lovely women with impressive platinum silvery crowns.

  • I think its very dignifying, I can't wait to I get, mine!

  • These sista's look good!

  • All of these ladies look beautiful with their silver hair but, I will NEVER allow myself to go gray!

As long as there is hair color, I will use it!

  • WOW.... How Beautiful!! I just might "not" buy & use that dark brown hair rinse this weekend!!!!

  • The women in this video are beautiful and so is their hair. I watched because I'm REALLY trying to embrace mine. I hate it. I've been graying since my early 20s (I'm 42 now) and if I let my hair go, it will be almost white. I don't love it. *sigh* I just hope that one day I can accept it.

  • @chokolatgurl Hi...I am in the same boat. I am 43 and I would be at least 90 - 95% white if I stopped dying. My white roots feel so soft and I wish I could feel comfortable not dying. This video really helped me see that it can be beautiful and it is not the end of the world.

  • I love this video! Thank you for sharing it.

  • Fantastic video! Creative, aesthetic, great photography et al.

  • Confusing these Black women looks sooo young yet the have grey hair.....

Wow Black Beauty has nooo expiry date!

  • very nice video... thank you

  • Beautiful. I too have always been fascinated by beautiful silver hair. I am in my mid 50's, just now starting to show some silver hairs, and I love them all. My mother never dyed her hair, and neither will I!

Question: Is there a rinse of some sort to make the hairs more silvery so they stand out more?

  • Thank you so much for this much needed video. I am completed gray, I started graying in my twenty's. Then I started coloring and all I was doing back then was damaging my hair, Today I am 57, full of gray hair and loving it. I just wish they would make more stylish half wigs and gray wigs. I found that wigs protects the hair in the winter months as well as keeping the head warm.

  • I love my silver hair even more now...Thank you

  • i am deeply impressed about all thes beautiful women

  • When its my time, I will embrace my silver hair! Love this video...

  • Totally biased when it comes to the beauty!!! of silver hair......... Hope to see more videos like this........

  • omg! finally found what i've been looking for i.e. video related to gray hair. thanks!!!!!!!

  • I'm young and think silver hair is totally rad, I don't get why when older people(of any race) try to dye their hair

  • Beautiful! Thank you.

  • Very Beautiful video! Thank you!

  • This video was beautifully made.

  • These ladies are black, silver and beautiful. When the time comes..... I will rock my grays too!
