Electric power went out for a week in Conn, I live in a city in the mid state, for that period, day or night we never got to see a cop, at street intersections they put stop signs, no gasoline at stations and no food at super market, the neighbors became worried,every one took turns, we would seat in the porch watchful at night, a lot of people either got carbon monoxide poisoning or burnt their homes ( heating and candles). the government is not ready, and the news won't inform you. Police are separated from normal society by their recruitment, training and cultural indoctrination process. In too many cases they only socialise with other police and people stop inviting them to "normal people" social gatherings. I am active law enforcement and i agree with you 100%. The police are here to protect and serve those whom we took an oath to protect and serve. We swore an oath to defend the constitution of the United States and the constitution of whatever state we serve in. I just don't understand. Americans rant on about how their "beloved" U.S. troops are overseas in Iraq/afghanistan fighting and dying for our so called "freedoms", but then there are Americans saying to prep, because our own troops will on the streets of U.S. towns/cities confiscating our guns, rounding up Americans and shipping them off to the so called "FEMA" concentration camps. Naive video. "To protect and serve" is disinformation - always has been. Law enforcement is in place to enforce the laws and represent the interests of the government - they have no legal obligation to protect private citizens. The Constitution came with a mechanism to change it if needed. When the Nazi's took over, they passed laws disarming the populace so confiscation was legal. The fed will use panicked responses by gunowners as justification for changing the laws.

Electric power went out for a week in Conn, I live in a city in the mid state, for that period, day or night we never got to see a cop, at street intersections they put stop signs, no gasoline at stations and no food at super market, the neighbors became worried,every one took turns, we would seat in the porch watchful at night, a lot of people either got carbon monoxide poisoning or burnt their homes ( heating and candles). the government is not ready, and the news won't inform you. If you're going to organize do your homework; educate your group on the laws, get a statute book so you don't get yourself in trouble on some hidden verbiage. We swore an oath to defend the constitution of the United States and the constitution of whatever state we serve in. IYou're on the right track, but your method of planting you are leaving way too much to chance. It's like throwing seeds in a vacant lot and hoping like hell that you grow something. I'm a veteran of both the navy & Coast Guard, so my service has been both military and law enforcement. I was so devoted to that oath that I even threatened to shoot an officer when I was in the navy, long story. I agree that both must be convinced to honor their oath, but it's going to take more than seeds. Cont.
