Well, I am a bit surprised: I expect some other dull resistance melodrama with the German as villains and a lot of jumping, explosions and other dumb American acrobatic; but it seems that Dutch film making was not infected of American mischief (yes: I am referring to Zwartboek by Paul Verhoeven); but this one is highly realistic: Mostly acting in conspiracy, occasional assassinations (mostly of collaborators) and the Germans behaving rather decently; ...

... in fact the Gestapo officers are treating the Dutch suspects far better than the Americans do these days with terror suspects in Mesopotamia, Bactria or on Cuba! And I love the scene when the German troopers enter the pub and try to flirt with the heroine and respond to her vulgar behaviour with the words: A drunken whore; as the Germans are even under a mad ideological tyranny more decent and virtuous as others like the Americans are under a democracy: The Indians did not just disappear...
