I miss the days when you could adventure far into a zone and hunt for hours on end.

ya Daoc was definatly alot more fun back in the day when nobody knew the cookie cut ways to build groups and when rr5 was huge. now everyones rr13 and its just cheese. Old frontiers was fun especially on Mordred. those were the best days

I've played DAoC since before SI. They trashed it when I came back at '07. But it was still fun. Seemed easier to level, too. I got 4-5 50s on Alb.. 2-3 Mid.. 1 Hib(Not the biggest Hibernia fan). Well, I hear Ywain is out all servers in one? Nice. ---(Alb) Frucan(s). (Hib) Bedixi. (Mid) Nostari/Nomamond.

Fact, servers are now Gaheris and Mordred for the PvE and PvP only folks, with all normal ruleset servers being combined to one in Ywain.

For most of the day see a pop of 3-4k, which is pretty nice for a single server. RvR stays hoping most of the day and night.

I hope the original creators of DAOC do make a 2nd one and fix the crappy patches added to the first. I quit months ago...i had been playing this game about a month after it came out, but i could not handle the crappy patches any longer..

LoTRO has PvMP. You can level your character to 50 and then go out into the ettenmoors, where other players have created monster characters. These two factions fight.

Theres enough monster characters because you are allowed to create on once you get a normal character to level 10.

Its actually alot of fun.

i tried it..and it hardly has PVP in it, its more of a PVE based game, and the PvMP is horrible..

Try warhammer, you'll enjoy that game even more

yea i agree, pvp is what the game is all about, but with some pve, is what attracts more players to the game since you have veterans of MMOs who were use to PVE. If you haven't played warhammer yet, you'll enjoy the beauty and the RVR system of it, and yes i played DAOC, and i enjoyed it..but it's too bad they moved on..oh well....

same here..the tanks on the game amaze me in PVP, since if you take them side my side..its a nice and tough penetrable wall that will take a while to take down. This game is truly amazing with the RVR system..and btw, i play a black orc as well, and lovin it.
