I have the same model in blue, it's a very fun scooter. I have had it for about 3 years now. I live in Minnesota so conditions can be tough. I have had several problems with the scooter, however nothing that isn't repairable by myself. Some of the gadgets just aren't up to par. As for your speedometer problem, it's most likely the cable, It's easy to swap out and they only cost about 18 dollars (don't know the conversion :-) ) All in all they are incredibly fun! Good luck!
I have a Sym Jet euro x, and I would definitely recommend a jet euro over this model. but All Sym scooters are quality vehicles. Only complaint I have is that the speed is heavily restricted by the manufacturers ( mine tops at like 31 mph ). And the battery is a bit undersized. Other than that it gets great gas milage and is a fun ride. Pretty roomy as well, carrying a passenger is no problem at all.
I got the same (not this model but model 2010 which has the turn signal not on the handlebar anymore). and i have to say that its a lot of fun! BUT: mine accelerates much faster, you are not speeding on the limit, you just give a bit of gas to it. mine goes about 60 km/h now but i spare it a bit so now i ride like 40 so that i can ride like 70 as soon as the first 500km are over :)
I have a Lance Vintage 150. I have over 2,000 miles on it and till now the only thing that I replaced was the battery and it was a month ago. Had battery problems when I scooted 130 plus miles to San Diego CA. one way down Pacific Coast Hwy. I was told that I need to install a voltage regulator so I wont fry my battery again on another long trip. The scooter has no leaks and it runs like it did on day one. I change the oil every thousand miles.

Yeah.. of course :-) I'm thinking about getting a scooter like this in spring. Did you have any problems? Some people say that these plastic China scooters get broken all the time.
I also heard some bad stories about these chinese scooters. I don't know why. My scooter is 3 years old and has 10.000 kilometers on the odometer. Apart from 2 small problems, it's a fantastic scooter. It starts all time. I'm very happy I bought one.
@eMWe This scooter is perfect. Except the speedometer. Since I bouht it 2 years ago, I've had no problems with the scooter. I agree a Vespa is better, but this one isn't crap!
@Sjon1991 Finally... I'm going to get one :D I read more about it and what 1MichaelJacksonhd says seems not to be the truth xD Thanks for this video! Yup, a vespa is better, but a vespa is 3 times more expensive than this beautiful chinese peace of chrome :)
