I am Spanish and I dont find this offensive, I should be proud that my country and my people conquered and made, I feel fucking proud that my country conquered full continent and changed history forever. All true, yes. The case is that those spanish bastards were no worse than, for instance, the Teutonic Knights who massacred "pagan" people from actual Poland or Baltic countries or the aztec warriors who captured and sacrificed thousands of prisioners from another mexican states. So sad, so true.

You missed the greatest bloody conquerors of all... the Spanish! But yes it's true all those nations done bloody things in their search for gold and religion. Truth or not, the spanish (no offense to our neighbour, nuestros hermanos) took the fame of the slaughter. No one is to blame, beliefs of Modern Era were to twisted by religion :)
