  • You can pop in and see the guns of a tree, called "Tree of Life" at the British Museum.

Or google to see more : British Museum - Tree of Life

  • This is one of the best things to do with guns.

"If half of the American military planted trees for 1 hour 192 million trees would get planted."

  • Was that a Winchester 1895 I saw? What a shame.

  • Man I would have bought those, the guns I mean.

  • wow... a standard ak-47 magazine is only 30 rounds not 36 and the weapon at 0:08 is a british L85 upper portion, not even a complete firearm. Lastly its amazing they were able to kill each other given that 2:00 those rag bag "soldiers" aren't even using sights. Hell, the first guy only has one hand on a belt fed machinegun.

  • Great!

  • Darn. How are we, the people of the first world, supposed to make a living if they're not at war..?

  • You ingnorent bastard....

  • Uh. I was joking..

  • Because you know...our government makes most of it's income by selling weapons to people in war torn countries. I was being heavily sarcastic.

  • I understand, so your government must be American right?

I think other countries who are currently involved in a civil war, can really learn from Mozambique's initiatives!

And Mozambique used mostly Russian guns, like Ak-47 Kalashnikov's, because it was communist.

Anyways, I'm happy the war ended.

  • I'm british actually. My government mainly sells weapons to countries like Saudi Arabia. It doesn't matter about their appalling lack of human rights, because they sell us oil. And there are many other benefits for us to keep African countries poor and at war. It's sick.

  • Uhum, true, true...I'm living in Holland now and left Mozambique 10 years ago, I haven't had the chance to go back, but I hope that next year I'll be able to go on vacation there...I just hope other African countries learn Mozambique's initiatives.

If all that money that is spend in wars, (which most of it is sponsored by the tax payer)...was spend to help others, we would all be living in a better place...

  • inspiring

  • fantastic project!! that doc looks like it had been great to work on. I love the tree concept.
