  • Saw these guys open for Echo & The Bunnymen back in '88 here in Kansas City and they Rocked! This is my favorite SBM song and I love how the Bass explodes outta the speakers during the intro.

  • @KoenHead Saw them in Vancouver on that same tour, blew the bunnies right off the stage!

  • A song I took to heart long ago and live my life by. Sadly no Six Pack 440s in my garage but plenty of 440 Magnums! Wish Bill Carter would crank out some more cool music for all us gearheads to listen to again. Nothing like wrenching on an old Mopar muscle car in the garage while listening to the driving tones of The Screaming Blue Messiahs...

  • Thoroughly ripping ;-j

  • Ah yes 'Big Brother Muscle'...now this beauty brings back some memories when I used to pump weights in a gym in the early '90's. Excellent tune to listen to on a walkman (remember those contraptions?) while pumping weights at the same time I can assure you. What about the stunning lyrics to this number? How gooooood are they?! "I've got a 440 SIX PACK under the hood"! Those lyrics are of course are in reference to MOPAR's infamous 440 cubic inch monster V8 that powered yank tank muscle cars.

  • I have this on vinyl but haven't hearrd it for years - probably appoaching 20 years. It still has it though! Saw them in 89 at London's Subteranean club - it was one of the best gigs I've been to. Good memories. I still have the timing chain going round my brain.

  • How is it possible that less than a thousand folks have viewed this to date?!?! AWESOME!!

  • What a rhythm section. What a band.
