Oops, sorry, one more question -- do I need to take of the skin before I put it in?
I got a 6.5 lb breast - I sure hope it fits in my crock pot. It doesn't fit frozen, but I'm hoping after it thaws it will be a little more flexible. If not, I guess I'll bake it.
yeah, i'm getting less and less freaked over having it on all day. i still feel like i have to be here though which defeats the purpose i suppose. lol
Rocky - that looks de-friggin-licious! YUM! I plan to do Thanksgiving here - although the German people don't really celebrate Thanksgiving like in America... they have a ''thanksgiving'' type holiday - but it's not like ours. I will have my inlaws over and I'll make turkey ..etc. I've decided to do a smaller turkey this year (just the breast) - and I saw your video and thought that's great - only problem, I don't have a crockpot, do you know how long per pound it has to bake and what temp? mmm
we used to make tamales on xmas eve. what kind do you make? we mostly made the rojo but my favorites are the verde and the bean and cheese. so good!
definitely can do. taking it off slowly is what worked for me. i didn't and don't feel like i'm depriving myself. i still eat really good food just in a different way. i know you can do it!
I'll be over for Thanksgiving, I'll be the one curled up with your cat watching the parade on your couch so don't freak out. lol That turkey looks YUM!
rocky...it looks yummy. i think you could do it w/o the onion soup mix. you are such a good cook and so sweet to take the time to show us so many yummy recipes
i know i could do without it but i have fun cooking all sorts of ways. from scratch, from a pre mix. i just love to cook. i have my vids where i bring out my spice collection and go to town and others where i pull out a package. i love experimenting.
This was a great video! My turkey came out amazing!! Pleast post any other cool recipes!

A few years ago I forgot to make my home made cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving,
so I put the bag of fresh cranberries in my mini chopper and a half of strawberry jam
and let it rip and it was good. Last year I put orange jam in it and it was the best!!!!!
