Ron Paul already said from his own mouth that he refuses to believe Iran is close to having a nuke or that they would use it against anyone that they have issues with. Iran already publicly confirmed that they DO almost have 1 but its for "peaceful" purposes (not). The only thing that bothers me about Paul is that he doesn't sound like he would defend America in a worst case scenario. He dodges issue about what he'd do if we were threatened and chooses to put his faith that people always listen.

They don't almost have a nuke, they have enriched Uranium to almost 20% which there are plenty of peaceful uses for this level of enrichment, weapons grade uranium is typically considered 85%+. That doesn't even take into account there is much, much more to a nuke than having the uranium.

Ron Paul already said from his own mouth that he refuses to believe Iran is close to having a nuke or that they would use it against anyone that they have issues with. Iran already publicly confirmed that they DO almost have 1 but its for "peaceful" purposes (not). The only thing that bothers me about Paul is that he doesn't sound like he would defend America in a worst case scenario. He dodges issue about what he'd do if we were threatened and chooses to put his faith that people always listen.

They don't almost have a nuke, they have enriched Uranium to almost 20% which there are plenty of peaceful uses for this level of enrichment, weapons grade uranium is typically considered 85%+. That doesn't even take into account there is much, much more to a nuke than having the uranium.
