very nice run and someone said they paid a lot of money for him.....ummm ya there is another video of him running at the NFR with his previous owner. I bet they did pay an arm and a leg for him and he def. should win at any barrel race they take him to. You can say money doesnt make the horse, but buy a $40,000 dollar one and try to beat it with a $500 one doesnt happen very often if ever.
@mscanchaser1 my $350 dollar horse may not beat a $40,000 dollar horse in a barrel race but he could beat them in persanality and heart and being funny and playing around but knowing when enough is enough. i bet a $40,000 dollar barrel horse wouldnt run with all he has then trot the whole pattern with a beginer on him... would a 40,000 dollar barrel horse stop if his rider fell off around the last barrel? my horse would.

@34BaRReLRaCeR43 yeah if i let him run my horse could kick ass in barrels but i just started and so did he plus i want his speed to be a mistrey to a farm that we race against... at the show we walk and trot like beginers at the house, hes geting really really good. Ik its weird but one girl always calls him a worthless pecie of crap cuz he was abused and he was only $350 but she wont think that when i let him go at the next show XD (He isnt just gud at the patrrn hes crazy fast to)
@1233Maya, i cant remember if it was Kristi Peterson and Bozo or charmayne james and scamper but. they got their horse for free or cheap, and he turned out to be a champion barrel horse. its not what you pay its whats in their heart. dont let anyone tell you your horse is a piece of crap.
@dirtycowgirl101 lol yeah i complamented on my horse, my boots and my jeans by a youth world champ for barrels the last time i took him out to the arena to practice. She called him fat and i almost cryed :) i always called him fatty but when i got him he was 300+ underweight
I think Tyrney and Hot Shot make an amazing team! Not only does it take time and alot of hard work to get horses like that but it also takes a strong, loving bond! I've learned that over the past few months with the horse that I ride and it really helps.

People in the audience yelled at her to stop the poor horse. So she quickly just yanked on its mouth. Poor horse. To me though I love horses and want to have a reserve where they are free and never have to be ridden again.

But not all barrel racers treat thier horses like they should, but dont hate barrel racing because it not the sports fault blame the rider, because any rider of any discipline can miss treat thier horse, so dont blame the discipline blame the rider! but i can understand why you would think that.

It is a long story. But I watched something on youtube when I used to like barrel racing. The person was fast and great but when the horse turned it severely hurt its leg but the rider just kept going. After that I lost all my trust with the person and did not want to see another barrel in my life.
Kicking and batting a horse, is just to urge him on. A crop is a popper . which it pops when you hit them and it does not hurt them. they try to get away from the noise. & Kicking is for horses that won't go unless you kick. If cropping or kicking a horse was wrong, they would not let you do that in barrelraces. or in any sport. Thats just how some horses work.

Gosh with the economy the way it is and with a possible depression making its way in america, I would hope not only us barrel racers could stick together but all horse and animal lovers combine!
