what i like the most is the accompaniment of the choir rather than using a piano as seen during service which really removes the ancient feel to it. this is traditional and archaic in some way. simply marvelous. shalom

I find I have trouble really enjoying listening to songs others have sang, that I heard him sing first. There is something in the quality of his voice that is just powerful, not loud but strong, with the ability to hold, rise or fall as naturally as breathing. Unlike others I've seen he doesn't strain his face or move awkwardly he just sings, its what he was meant to do and it's truly amazing to watch.

I was at the concert, and at the conclusion of the E-L Moleh Rachamim I didn't know if applauding was appropriate. However, I joined in with the rest of the chevra. The audience was astounded by the beauty and range of Chazzan Stark's voice. The other Chazzonim appearing that night were Helfgot, Malovany, Benjamin Muller, Stern and Naftali Herstik. My friends all agreed that Chazzan Stark was the star of the evening. May he continue to inspire audiences with his most beautiful voice.
