This is the Pujllay dance from the town of Tarabuco near Sucre, Constitutional Capital of Bolivia. The dancers and their ethnicity are from the Yamparaes culture. During Colonial times, these natives fought the Spaniards to whom they defeated and the natives ripped the spaniards' hearts literally. There is a monument in Sucre of the Yampayarae warrior and the date engraved of the battle that took place long ago.
