@mer7ury Awesome Q. The night before, put your oats in a bowl. Cover with water. Let the water be about 1cm higher than your oats if it's just for you. In the morning they would've absorbed all that water. Cook like normal but probably reducing the fluid you add a little. I even soak mine and eat as they are with yoghurt and fruit. No draining necessary. Please try and buy gluten free oats if you can as they're much better for you.
If you reserve a small portion of the soaking liquid each time and reuse it for next time it actually becomes more effective at neutralizing the phytic acid. This is a traditional method in many asian cultures. peace
Cooking porrige, ie. rolled oats, can you explain the best way of soaking, draining etc.? How many times etc..
