Yes!! So far you are the ONLY one on YT who talks about the Estee Lauder Advanced Oil Control Hydrator. It is the only thing that works for me. I buy the EL when they have their gift with purchase or any of their other promotions. This way I get the product plus some of their samples. Well since you like EL so much I am going to try the Clinique. You have to use the Idealist at night before going to bed. It is supposed to refine your skin. But if you still don't like it, send it to me.

I use the oil control lotion (without moisturiser underneath) and I put mac matte gel over it and it works wonders. You should try it!!

my skin is real funny...i tried d zip zap thingy but it made my skin dry n i mean dry to d point where i needed to exfoliate asap becus of dead skin from d dryness...it looked bad..but maybe dis time imma try it again wit a mosturizer after words n use bakin soda when usin the cleanser....

I use Africa Black soap, or African Jelly soap for acne, shaving bumps, and other skin ailments. I love it. It works. If you can deal with Coastal Scents' attitude they sell it. Otherwise goggle African Black soap. Don't be shocked it's not a pretty bar soap. It looks like a giant turd, but it's natural and works.

What works for my oily eyelids? Even UDPP creases on me. Help me out.

try this and tell me if you like it. After you cleanse and moisturize. Take Phillips Milk of Magnesia (about 3 drops for each section of your face) put that onto a cosmetic sponge and stipple it onto your face. Let it soak in for a few mins. If you get any white spots you can add a bit of water to the sponge and buff them off. Follow with the clinique shine control, let that soak in. Then use the mac prep and prime with spf, let that soak and then apply foundation. Tell me if you like

I used the Milk of Magnesia this morning under my makeup and my skin is very oily and it was AMAZING. Seriously, I've tried everything and this is the only thing that keeps my makeup fresh and the oil at bay for the majority of the day.

Isnt it crazy how well that works, and it is so cheap! Im also finding that the estee lauder double wear foundation is great at keeping the oil at bay. Litereally stays on my face ALL DAY LONG

K - I just wanted to let you know that I seen this video a while ago (last month - I commented "Aw - I like you! lol :)."

I didn't even know that Zapzyt existed until I seen this video, so I went out and bought it (why not), and it works great! Thank you! Although, I can only find the treatment gel tube - not the system.

Actually though, using it every day caused my chin to turn red, and get a little rash... so I've been using it every other day instead.

a great moisturizer for oily skin that i use is clinique dramatically different GEL, don't get the lotion tho cuz it contains oil. and clearsil pretty much saved my life...if u get the little bumps on your forehead that are impossible to cover. anything with benzol peroxide (or w/e) will work :)

I have oily acne-prone skin as well and I have tried everything from Neutrogena to Proactiv and nothing seems to work. I have sensitive skin too so I am very much afraid of trying new stuff, especially with all of the foreign ingredients that I cannot pronounce! I am currently using Aubrey Organics facial cleanser and toner but I think I am having a reaction to this as well. I know I need to see a dermatologists. By the way, You are so funny girl!

I just have to say that I love this video. There aren't enough makeup gurus on YouTube for women of color or women with oily skin. It's always frustrating when you watch tutorials and everybody's using products you know won't work for you because of your complexion. Anyway, thank you for this! Hey girl, I just want to thank you for recommending the zap zit...I didn't buy the night and day gel...I got the zap zit acne treatment gel, and let me tell you...IM IN LOVE!!! My skin was soooooo oily. I had so much trouble with my eyeshadows they would crease up and my foundation will get all cakeyyyyy..ush..nasty. But this saved my face. To be honest, everything I use makes me hella oily. I think it maybe heredtary because my father has very oily skin and he's very easy to break out too. I will try what you suggest and I will let you know how that works out for me...thanks

have you tried just using the green gel cleanser and the oil control lotion. Since you were using two moisturizers (oil control & Studio fix moistutre) thats why your face was to oily.
