When I become old enough, I know for a fact that I will dedicate my life to wolves and their survival. Thumbs up if you agree that wolves are the greatest animals on the planet! =3
Wolves are beautiful animals, and I agree that they hurt people but that's only to protect themselves. Without wolves, the balance of prey animals like elk and other deer species increase and over populate. Wolves serve a great purpose and that is to keep that balance, by killing off the wounded and sick animals.
The druids were hit very hard by mange and died out, though some of it's descendants exist currently in other packs like the Agate creek pack. I had the opportunity to see the Agates as well as Molly's pack this past week out in the park.

all but one of the druid peak pack died of some skin disease (or something like that) last year.
Plus, without the wolves in yellowstone, the number of elk living there increased and ate the moose's food supply (some type of plant), which decreased the number of moose living in yellowstone greatly. :\
We will always remember druid peak pack. They are now down to one lone wolf. There pack without a female is kaput i feel so sad that the pack is almost completely wiped out :(
We've seen wolves everytime we go to Yellowstone. They're not too hard to find, you just have to know the best times to look and be very patient. Very nice video, thank you! Aren't the wolves great?
Those wolves are like celebrities. The Druids are the most famous pack ever. I think its the largest pack ever documented too. They used to have 37 members. Thats not a pack, its a army!
the wolf at :45 is # 302. when my class went to yellowstone we saw them and learned about each of the wolves watch the video expedition to yellowstone and you'll see where we stayed. in lamar valley
