  • Does are my headphones deck

  • hes mad smart, in fact there all inteligent, even odb till he got bad wit drugs god rest his soul

  • The 2nd thing he says is interesting because that clubbin' breakin'-scene was, from what I've heard, at the time when crack and violence in black urban poor communities peaked. Did the same violence move into hip hop? To what extent is it acting? etc

  • Violence was here way before hiphop, why must a musician have to clean up violent lyrics?...i like it...ppl need to take responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming; not just rappers but musicians in general. Alot of ppl blame Marilyn Manson for the "Columbine High School massacre" which was bs .I have been listening to rock, rap and heavy metal since i was a little kid. Today im 27 and still listen to violent music and no way do i act out what i listen too. Its all in the mind.

  • @TheTrinirocker Rappers shouldn't have to clean up thier lyrics. If you can't censor life then why censor the living? I agree with you 100%. The problem is that parents are going crazy hearing about the violence and these crooked ass polititions feed off of that fear and gives them a new platform to keep themselves in office. Manson didNOT pull the trigger for those kids, something was just wrong with them. But because there is no easy answer, someone had make one up.

  • @Grimey90s Well said. I understand the parents concerns, becuz my parents was concern about me too but at the sametime i think we all need to stop blaming others for our mistakes...oh and cool name btw (Grimey90s)

  • if you're not from NYC, you dont have a basis for comment. Sorry punks.

  • I bet Deck and the rest of WU pack a hefty assortment of alphabets

  • @wallstreetyoung all I saw was "racist-ignorant-andutterlystupid post"

  • arnt these guys soposed to be asain according to the racial draft. lol

  • it is so funny when news reporters try and pronounce all the hip hop words with proper grammer and stuff

  • Hip Hop should never have had absolutley fucking anything to do with violence. People like de la soul and the pharcyde never needed to represent violence to freely express their poetic skills. This bullshit Called Rap that is desinigrating the interior of real good music needs to be laid to fucken rest. Fuck Lil Wayne and any mother fuckers who think he is the greatest rapper in the world. Tha Wu is taight but people, hip hop does exist, fucken find it.

  • Inspectah Deck and GZA look like twins I can never tell one from the other

  • Real Talk from Inspectah!

  • This is a good video foreal.''Inspectah Deck''.''Wu-Tang Clan''.

  • yea like the majority of they tracks wu tang clans lyrics are filled wif truth about 'the world' Cash does Rule Everything Around Me is not they fault the world is commercial and material they jus squirrelz tryin to some nutz....

  • It's a fucking statement about The world around them. And how That world Is ruled by Materialism, and how what they gotta do to survive is get that cream, plain and simple other depths of the song can be seen but in reality. violance also rules the mainstream ghetto, which is influenced by the Cream.= Cash Rules Evertyhing ARound ME

  • sum real-

  • lol like cream aint materialistic

  • Tru, but it's not ONLY about materialism. The lyrics in cream contain much more depth to them than what you here from rap songs you here on the radio these days.

  • The song? the song isn't materialistic at all. Talks about their struggle in getting by and how their actions were influenced by money. Hence Cash Rules Everything Around Me.

  • 'how their actions were influenced by money'...money=materialism

  • Word I see your view.

  • REAL TALK from ma Brotha Inspectah!

  • na fuk them the goverment wants to blame hip hop but the envirioment is caused by goverment hip hop is not to blame wutang is clever not gheeto 50 the one making gats a good thing

so why should he change the goverment should change

  • fingerbang666 you just don't understand do you? Most hip-hop artists come from ghetto areas filled with violence and the gang culture. They speak their lives through hip-hop, and hip-hop is most of their lives. How the fuck can you undermine a whole genre for telling the stories of their lives!

  • Yeah I guess no other genre of music has ever advocated violence...

Also, 1:40, wish more people understood this

  • Yo I know ghostface did the "heart Genlty Weeps" beat before it was on 8 Diagrams, anyone know what that track was called?

  • "My Guitar"

    Off of some mixtape.

  • seen it yesterday! lets chat

  • foreigners in many respects, I know because I have been just about everywhere in the world, often are able to speak more than one language, and have much more geographical knowledge than 99% of Americans, in other words they can think for themselves, and do not allow themselves to be manipulated by the media at all, and do not see gangsta rap as something evil or bad, as a matter of fact it is charismatic and loaded with energy, which is why it became the worldwide phenomenon that it is today.

  • true that man i am a immigrant and i feel the same. when i moved to canada i wondered why people take rap so seriously. there is voilence everywhere

inlook at rambo or any of arnold movies. movies

  • hm, not putting you down man... but there's a little more to Rambo (character-wise) than just mindless violence-

  • @kabfik-I myself am a foreigner (from Brazil) who lived 18 years in the ÚS, and I gotta tell you, this idea that europeans (who I believe is who you are talking about, b/c it sure couldn´t be the even more traditional cultures of most of Asia, Africa and S.A.) are so open minded isnt so correct. If the muslim rappers of Fra, Engl or Germny were dropping some Wu-type or worse, Killarmy lyrics, there would be plenty of backlash. And don't forget, rap is only a global phenom. b/c the US made it so

  • Americans are too bent on emotion and rarely use scientific reasoning on such matters, Why is it that our government wastes so much taxpayer money on b.s. like this, in Europe Hip-hop is much more free as far as violent lyrics and even music videos(the women on their hip hop videos are totally naked), yet they have much lower crime rates and sexual assault violence than the U.S., If hip hop is so bad and yadda yadda it would not be the worldwide phenomenon that it is, foreigners are not stupid.

  • idk about all of you guys, but personally in my opinion i think music should be a freedom because really its what YOU are thinking, so when people are trying to change the music there trying to chang You and i dont believe thats right. and for the person below me, nothing good has came out of alot of music, how bout emo which talks tons about Sucide and depression... think about it music today doesent usally have a good message..

  • Fingerbang666, look at your name. How can anybody respect your opinion. You no nothing about Hip-Hop! Shut the Fuck Up.

    Koo-C

  • Cuss me out all night long, but you know I'm right.

  • Do you mind discussing with me a little more in depth your perspective on hip-hop culture? Maybe how you feel about it/ If not, that's ok too, just a request.

  • ur a fucking dumbass, u dont know hip hop. there is plenty of positive hip hop out there, but you are too much of a fucking prick to realize shit.

hip hop is so great cuz u can have the grimey hardcore shit like wu tang clan or jedi mind tricks while at the same time you might have something like talib kweli, common, or a tribe called quest.

SO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND DONT SPEAK ON SHIT YOU DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT !!!

  • ur an idiot

  • you're right! hip hop is all about respect for women, anti-violence, sobriety, and love toward thy neighbor. hit me back for examples.

    peace in!

  • And slangin the rock

    Who gives a shit

    Hip hops hip hop

    It dont ever stop
