I'm from Brazil and i've never been in US, but i've watched many americans teen movies where i see this "culture" of "being popular", and there are peoples who are grouped according to their characteristics: The nerds, the football players, the cheerleaders ! And the football players catch all the girls and the cheerleader don't even talk to who is not popular ! Is that true ? Those things really happen in US Schools ?

A little music trivia for ya... this was filmed at Bayonne High School which is located roughly 10 miles from New York City in New Jersey. This was the same high school that Pearl Jam's Jeremy Video was filmed in as was Mariah Carey's Someday. Kenny Britt of the Tennessee Titans as well as actor Frank Langella who played Skeletor in Master's of the Universe attended Bayonne HIgh School. I lived in Bayonne for a year and I loved it. Great Italian and Polish food.
