  • When I do a dumbbell curl, when resting my palms are facing in then as I curl I rotate my wrists to an upward position. That a similar effect is it not? A trainer showed me that as a standard curl.

  • @joshuad2d You can get a similar effect if you use an offset grip. Don't hold the DB in the middle but at the top end of the dumbbell (when it's in a hammer grip). Then, as you supinate you will have resistance from the other end of the DB...
