I think they could've done so much more with the ride. All you do is spin on two turn tables and drop twice. They took out the whole story line and theming from Journey to Atlantis San Diego and Orlando.

I rode it last summer. I thought it was gonna be boring too cause i saw the virtual one first. I was terrified when we made the drop because it's really steep. and you get soaked to even if you're just standing in line.

Yes, Journey to Atlantis is a real water ride. This is the one in San Antonio, only it's virtual because cameras won't work. (Water, of course! XD)

I was a guest for an employee that worked there and I got to ride it before it opened to the public. It's not a super intense ride but the drop backwards at night seemed to have lasted a little longer. The drop is always fun and at night it's a pretty site they stopped up there for 3 min HAHHA...
