I just made this treat, but instead of coconut I used a cup of finely chopped walnuts, and I added 1 tsp of almond extract.
I didn't have any tapioca flour/corn starch, and it turned out great without it! Next time I will make sure I have all the ingredients before starting!
Hi I love your cooking and what you teach...I wanted to ask a favor if you ever come across to show how to make Nam Wan for me =) it'll be greatly appreciated
I Have a good recipe first you cut the bananas then you dip them in water and then you dip them in brown sugar marshmellow paste and deep fried them or fried them like she did....
Many Thanks I love to eat Your Fried Banana ,I did trying to cook is was Rubbish most of the times Not Crispy enought , Now I will try your new recipe Hope it will tates good just like the one you made Early ( ขอบคุณคา )
You don't have to "grind the internet" for the alternative ingredients! She gave you alternatives in the video. You should have everything you need at your local grocery store! Corn starch, all purpose flour and the other ingredients are available any where.
I've tasted the one with I think it was yam or taro before but I don't know what kind of yam they used or is taro...??? I wanna try but I don't know if it was yam or taro ..do you know
umm...yes. because coconut is kind of part of the unique flavor. maybe you can try to add small amount (1 teaspoon) of vanilla in it instead?? I never done it before so I'm not sure, let em if it work.
thank you very much for the recipes! I believe that i will have the best project now! but i have a question, is it going to make alot of difference if i don't put cocunut in it? I am allergic to cocunut...
zomgdilly i love fried bananas..ive only ever had once but it was like best memory as a kid ever..they wont let me deep fry a banana at work so ima try this way..do u really need seaseme seeds or no?

I wonder if you could successfully bake these instead? Fried food tends to be disgustingly and unnecessarily greasy.

Your eroding esophagus won't agree, nor will your clotting arteries.
You are my other dissenters are probably too ignorant to know anything about what happens to your body when you eat certain kinds of food.
So dissent away! I'll laugh when you drop dead at 50 from a heart attack and I'm stil plugging away at 90 in full health.

Or you'll get hit by a bus tomorrow, never having enjoyed a fried banana.

1. The weird fried stuff
2. Lemony sause stuff
3. Gramcracker looking stuff but it tasted like toaster struddle crust
4. Icing that wasn't frosting but wayyy better.

You could substitute the coconut for chopped nuts. That should be delicious also and make up for the texture of the coconut not being in the batter.
