Okay, I don't really like rap, but it's kind of ridiculous to say that just because people have tastes which differ from your own means that they can't appreciate real music. I think you're probably one of those people who takes pride in liking music which the majority of people have never heard of, but I that doesn't mean you're the ultimate judge of skill and talent.

Man that's pretty silly to simply say: "rap is not music, and requires no real skill." Just because you obviously like rock songs it doesn't mean other genres are something less. Try to be more open minded. I like Land of Talk as much as I like Deftones, Mickey Avalon, Cinematic Orchestra etc. They all are different genres but I don't give a shit. Why should I? Appreciate good music, not genres!
