don't be ignorant. Those taxes will be sent to the consumer people which will benefit small business since Americans will have more money in their pockets to spend. Also, no one said that your taxes go to just the poor- the go to fixing the roads, paying for your police and firefighters, helping public (and to an extent, charter) schools. Check the polls and you' ll be surprise. most of the young college students favor Obama over McCain. I am one of them, I am a college student senior year, I am 20 and first time voting for President. Those with College degrees favor Obama Over McCain. Eldery, and conservatives favor McCain. There is a lot of old people and young population don't really vote. not this time, A lot of young voter are voting this election. Rich people vote Republican because it benefits them, get it.

I'm going to be better off because I make well less than $200,000, so my taxes are actually going to be less under O'bama. Also, I won't have to worry about having my VA disability funds frozen and not dispursed under O'bama, McCain wants to freeze VA funds - which means no disability for military veterans who rate it, and no GI Bill money for veterans trying to go to college.
I think I'll be better off.

Also Joe's customers are going to have employers whose taxes have been raised by Obama so these employers are going to be less inclined to give Joe's customers bonuses or may make cutbacks which could mean some of Joe's customers losing their jobs. Joe will have to charge more to people making less money, get it??

Bush and McCain used to be adversaries, not friends. Plus, the Republican Party figured that this time, a Democrat would probably win. So they didn't mind McCain getting the nomination. He's never followed the party line like Romney and some others. They also figured Hillary would win the Democratic Party's nomination and then become our next president. No one thought Obama would be nominated. Now the most liberal candidate in U.S. history has a good chance of winning the White House.

I'll be better off because I'll have a healthcare system that won't let me die if I get cancer and I can't pay for treatment. I'll be better off because the government will provide better services. Better roads, better schools, better police, better military, etc. I'll be better off because there will be more funding for scientific research which will improve the quality of everybody's lives. Countries with higher taxes generally have a higher quality of life and less poverty.

What they don't tell you is WHERE Obama wants to add the taxes- to the rich who can afford it, and to large companies. He's actually giveing HUGE tax breaks to the poor and middle class. If Obama were to get his tax breaks, I wouldn't be paying any tax, as I don't make more than $19,000 a year.

Ever been to a blue collar area? They're some of the hardest fucking workers I've seen. Also, no one said that your taxes go to just the poor- the go to fixing the roads, paying for your police and firefighters, helping public (and to an extent, charter) schools. They go to building parks and playgrounds. They go to keeping this country out of debt (which is currently at $10.6 billion). Taxes go to keeping this country at peace, paying for the military, and helping countries. Is that bad?

If you believe the source of those lies then you are likely to feel strong emotions towards Obama (regardless of racial prejudice and other contributing factors). Obama's ability to remain calm and focused in the midst of this storm is truly amazing, and worthy of respect in itself. And no, that is not Obamamania.
