My professor says the "Race" category is obviously flawed because no everyone falls under those individual categories. Explain the Spanish and the Middle Eastern, the Native Australians, etc. So is it safe to say Hispanics are white too? I'm learning as I go.

@iviewutoob you're trying to pick at the obvious from an unrelated issue. yes, the "race" category is obviously flawed, but not in this case. italians are caucasians. period. no matter what they "look" like. just because they' might be tanned does not make them hispanic. obviously theres discrepancy as to certain cases in the issue of "race" but this is not it.
italians are europeans. europeans are not only white, they're the original whites. read more of that textbook before you make a comment
