i have GTX260 and i tested farcry2 map editor on alot of barrles exploding and i got tons of lags, i bet i cant run this one! and i have a gtx 260 that is SUPPOSED TO BE DESIGNED FOR IT!

@Nadavrockpro Because FC2 doesn't support Physx, and therefor does all that on the CPU. *facepalm*

@Nadavrockpro you may know this by now, far cry 2 does not use nvidia physx but uses thier own propietary physics in the dunia engine. The dunia engine is actually a heavily modified version of the cryengine 2.

If you use your 4870's with this game it wont make much of a difference, because to run the physics you'll have to do it in software mode. its as simple as that.

Not a BIG game yet though, I heard some "rumors" it'd be pretty easy to mod so it'll be mostly community developed... One can only hope though. So far we'll have to enjoy the tech demo, it's supposed to be very hush-hush
