@Psykoged simple: not enough voltage & current. Follow the steps below to enhance your volume:
1. Step: make an active amplifier-circuit (use google for a tutorial) (an amplification of about 300 should be enough).
2. Step: put it between your Audio-Output of the PC and the jack-plug of your headphones.
3. Step: wonder why your headphones got destroyed.
